Sarah Kay Weekly Challenge - Purple + Green

When I first saw this weeks Sarah Kay Weekly Challenge - Purple + Green, I really wasn't sure if I was able to participate as the only papers I have that have both purple and green in them I had already used on my Sketch Saturday card and really didn't want to use them again.

So after much thinking I finally chose one of my favourite papers from Basic Grey and added a little purple along the way, and some lace - of course, lol

Have a great day everyone, TFL x

Friday Sketchers + A Spoonful Of Sugar

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a good day. After a miserable wet morning I'm glad to see the sun is shining again - well it was whilst I was making this card.

Friday Sketchers has another fabulous sketch by Kimmie and I can't beleive I actually managed to make a card this side of the weekend. After no pink on PBSC this week, I'm sure you can guess a girl like me can not go long without pink, lol

Im also entering my card in this weeks challenge at A Spoonful of Sugar - Animal Magic, I know its not all animal but there is a cute little dog in there.

Have a great weekend, TFL x

Tilda + Friends ATC - Give Me Sunshine

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a good week. Sorry I haven't been about much this week, work seems to be taking over and I haven't had the time to do any crafting or much blogging. So I apologise if I haven't been to see you lately, but will be sure to catch up at the weekend, lol

I made a quick ATC for Tilda + Friends - Give Me Sunshine, I missed last week so really want to take part this week. Its such a great theme and wanted to use one on my new Tilda's that I've coloured with pencils. The papers are from Funky Hand, flowers + brads from my stash and the cute sentiment is from a set - Hero Arts.

Have a great evening, TFL x

Stamp Something - Katharina's Sketch

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. This weeks challenge at Stamp Something is a fabulous sketch by Katharina - which I always love.

I chose to use my new Sugar Nellie Stamp - Sweet Ebony Range: Picking Apples, as I thought they fitted perfectly with the papers. These are some of many new papers I brought yesterday on my shopping trip. They are by PaperCellar - Wedding Range, not something I would have brought 6 months ago, but I seem to have changed my style a bit lately and I'm trying to experiment with new stuff. Its good fun as Im working out of my comfort zone and feel like Im giving myself a challenge, but still having fun along the way.

I've coloured Sweet Ebony with a mixture of pencils and tombo pens - I still need more practice with my colouring , but I guess practice makes perfect - even if I have a long way to go, lol x

The sentiment from Hero Arts and the ribbon of course is from Poppicrafts.

This time I decided to decorate the inside of my card, and have used papers from the same collection. The swirls are from Studio G - pack of 5 for 99p from my local craft shop. This is the first time I've stamped directly onto patterned paper and cant believe I didn't do a bad job of it. The flower and button is from my stash.

And here's the inside:

A Spoon Full of Sugar + Friday's Sketch

Hope everyone has had a good day, I haven't had much time to craft today, as I've been shopping... yes for crafting goodies. I got lost in the moment and was out for about 4 hours, and spent far too much money as usual but got all the essentials I was looking for. New backing papers, which I've been desperate for, although I love the PP downloads its nice to have a change. I also got some watercolour pencils, which I haven't worked with since I was at school, oh that brings back memories. And lots of other bits and pieces.

Anyway I did find time this afternoon to make a card for A Spoon Full of Sugar and Fridays Sketch. I used my lovely new stamp from SN - Sweet Ebony and coloured her with my new water colour pencils. The backing paper is from Paper Mania - Antique Cream and the flowers and buttons are from my stash. I used a piece of decorative wire, which I've had since my floristy days and have come in real handy with my cards. The sentiment is from Hero Arts - clear designs.

Have a great weekend - TFL x
