Wedding cake

cake ni kelakar ok.sabar jelah, boleh pulak ada drama sebabak atas ni. haha

its not in my 'a must have list'

but its good to have one though. 2-tier cake should be fine for me, dikelilingi oleh paper lantern deco..ouchhh.indah!

right after work i went to sugarflour at bangi, for the 2-tier cake it will cost me rm400++, fondant cake starts from rm250. so basically, even single tier sudah rm250. i did check on the design, not much they got. but they did mention they can suit your request.

for mini cake, with very simple design it starts from rm15, the more complicated it go..more you have to pay. definately!

cookies complete with batang macam lolipop and packaging is rm5 each.

so, this is my first time doing cake survey, i have no idea what is the market price. but it sounds pricey to me...

for the dummy cake, price is as much as you have to pay for the real cake. no such thing as half price. OK ADALAH BAIK AKU BELI THE REAL CAKE.AT LEAST BOLEH MAKAN.BAGILAH DEKAT SIAPA-SIAPA KAN?

i dont know, sekarang nampak kedai-kedai related to kahwin, i will sure want to stop by. atleast have a look. 5 minit pun jadi.

OKAY, sudah lama tak update blog..

we first start with my officemate's wedding on early dec. that was the first time ever i attended Chinese wedding., more to come soon.. sebab ofismate adalah ramai chinese, but provided im invited to the wedding lah kan.haha... mmg agak loser lah, only after a month hanya mampu mengupdate tentang wedding dia.hehe.

i was so regret kerana forgot to bring Mike along with me.hanya sekadar menggunakan kamera compact sahaja.it was held at seafood bangsar. tapi, makanan yg dihidangkan definately lah bukan seafood.walaupun aku dan rakan-rakan berangan konon-konon dapat makan seafood. more to chinese food lah actually. but sedappppps sangat2. especially shark fin soup. and my teammate ajar macam mana nak bagi sedap.letak cuka and cili jeruk sikit. pergggghhhh... awesome!

masa bride & groom masuk. ni je aku dapat tangkap...huwaa..nanges okkk.dapat tangkap gambar hujung gaun bride aje..diorang ni jalan laju sangat. saat itu aku sangat-sangat merindui Mike..


funniest thing happen masa tu, groom's father nyaris-nyaris tertuang wine dalam gelas fakri and zabari.hahaha. but, kata 1Malaysia, the other chinese friend yang laju-laju cakap..jangan2.haha. =)

29 nov, aku dan MF ke bangsar.menghadiri kenduri rakanku, Emma. Kenal tahun lepas cmtu, sebab dia vendor kepada project yang aku handle. Lepas dia pindah Maybank, terus tak pernah jumpa dah. Kalau tak dia selalu je datang menempel dekat office ku. sibokk dengan nasi goreng kampung. suke sangat okay. hahaha. topic yang biasa kitorang bualkan,mestilah pasal kerja kan. kata pekerja berhemah (berhemah la sangat :p). dan aku bagai hantu menghantui Emma asyik tanya soalan aje, sebab masa tu aku baru lagi kerja, banyak sangat tak paham..bila Emma resign dari company vendor tu, aku memang sedihlah.sebab rasa makin jauh dari dia... (perlu ke nak rase camni?motifff????)

so dari seminggu sebelum Emma kahwin, aku dah kepoh-kepoh kat office and facebook. punya tak sabar nak jumpa dia.hehe.Aku memang mudah rapat dengan orang provided orang tu dengan aku selesa dengan each other lah kan. Ada jugak yang aku dah berkawan lama, but still macam ada jurang. kurang chemistry kot. bukan takda langsung, sebab dah berkawan bertahun takde chemistry tu memang tipu namanya..

semalam adalah kendurinya si anak dara bernama Huda. Finally, a big relief for her. after bersusah payah for 1 year macam tu, she is finally married to the one and only, Fadzli Khairi. Sejarah pencintaan?? haa, yang tu kena tanya dia sendiri ok.hohoho. Tapi yang pasti RHB lah paling berjasa,menemukan dua mempelai ni..

sebagai kawan yang sangat suka semak dalam hidup huda, and tak henti-henti sebok hal preparation dia, aku muncul kat rumah dia di malam terakhir dia bergelar Cik. Balik kerja terus straight ke rumah dia. Kononnya nak menolong, hehe..tapi datang makan lagi ada. hoho. Ini adalah sedikit hasil tangan aku yang tak seberapa and berbau sate (sebab dia jamu aku sate, jadi bau sate lah kan...kalau ciken chop...sedap sikit bau nyerr :p . oh demand pulakkk)

bunga tu di buat sendiri oleh mama Huda, aku tolong tang coklat tu aje.Haha.memang tak seberapa and tak layak dibanggakan...wooot.

i dont know. chocolate brown is so tempting to me. i feel like eating it. mat salleh-mat salleh ni pandai betulkan mix n match colors. it turns out so gorgeous.

when i look at my wedding's ticker *i put it at somewhere,secretly*, i just knew that, it is still early to decide on everything. and found out, theres one blogger preparing her wedding for 2 years. ohh, i should not be down, neither feel so bad. theres nothing wrong with preparing your wedding earlier than anyone can think of.

its my W-day after all, i'm nothing but wanna it to be perfect as much as it can be. *dont get me wrong, its not the glamorous wedding day that i'm hunting for*, a simple one will do. as long as it is me.. =)

i have no idea of cincin kahwin untuk lelaki, tapi hari tu pergi tinjau-tinjau, and found this suasa ring with diamond tuh, and it was almost 3.5k. After 50% less, dapatlah dalam 1.7k.

TAPI, suasa memang harga macam ni ke? ke sebab diamond dia? no idea....tahla.

Sejak tengok Mawi kahwin dulu, i've been dreaming of having big size chair dekat atas pelamin jugak..memang betul-betul macam Cindralela lah nanti..hehe

tapi by the time aku kahwin nanti, i hope its not outdated yet. it is more or less like this sample. but i would prefer the one i see in Majalah Pengantin, not really side by side, but nicely put at the corner. About the colors pulak, i would prefer kaler kosong macam cream or white. and ade satu kaler contrast lain macam red rose. tapi basically the deco will be very-very simple sebab aku memang tak suka serabut-serabut, and tak mo orang kata pelamin lagi cantik dari aku nanti.hehehe

next will be Huda & Fazli on this up coming 18 December...tinggal beberapa bulan lagi sebenarnya..rasanya preparation dia pun dah banyak jugak dibuat... semalam jalan-jalan kat PKNS Shah Alam. and jumpa satu baju kurung kaler silver...cantik..suka sangat siap dah berangan-angan nak pakai masa wedding minah ni nanti, tapi kedainya tutup..so aku hanya melihat dari luar cermin kaca jelah...

lepas tu, wedding kawanku yang sorang ni, tak bole dihebahkan kat sini, mampos aku kene pukul nanti.hehe...on 25th december...that was me who planned to get married first...hehe..tapi dia sudah sampai seru dulu. im trully happy for her.hehe...mau haru jugak la tengok preparation dia yang hanya tinggal 5 bulan aje lagi ni...

lastly, my brother-angah...aku tatau la mamat ni nak kawen bila sebenarnya. tarikh tak tetap lagi. tapi macam terdengar-dengar on 31st december aje...kena kerja keras la tuk wedding mamat sorang ni. tolong survey and siapkan apa patut...dari A to Z kena membantu..mau cuti sebulan la pulak aku lepas tu...hehehe

kesimpulannya, bulan 12 akan jadi yang paling kering untuk tahun ni. tu tak termasuk perkahwinan yang belum di-announce lagi...

Know the 4 c's of diamonds before you buy

Anyone shopping for a diamond engagement ring should first acquaint themselves with "the four Cs" - color, cut, clarity, and caret. Some also include the fifth c, cost.

Color: With the exception of "fancy colored diamonds", the more colorless a diamond is, the more valuable it is. Jewelers grade diamonds on a scale from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow). Anything more yellow than D is considered fancy and is much more expensive.

Cut: Many people make the mistake of thinking that cut means the shape of the diamond. Rather, it means the way the diamond was faceted to allow light to reflect from it. In a well cut diamond, light enters the diamond and reflects straight back to the viewer's eye. Some cutters will sacrifice cut to create the largest possible diamond, thus making too shallow or too deep of a cut and causing light to "leak" out the sides and bottom of the diamond.

Cut can be something very difficult for a layperson to evaluate, which is why it is important to get an AGS Certificate or a GIA Certificate verifying the quality of your diamond. Cut is graded Ideal, Premium, Very Good, Good, Fair, and Poor. Generally you should seek an Ideal to Very Good Diamond. Budget-conscious shoppers may opt for good.

Clarity: Diamonds frequently have inclusions, or small flaws, air bubbles, scratches, or other minerals inside the diamond. The less inclusions a diamond has, the more valuable it is, and the more beautiful it is.
The scale for grading diamond's clarity is:

• F Flawless - no internal or external inclusions.
  
  
• IF Internally Flawless - no internal inclusions, slight external inclusions.
  
  
• VVS1-VVS2Very Very Slightly Included - minute inclusions that are very difficult to detect under 10x magnification, even by an experienced grader.
  
  
• VS1-VS2 Very Slightly Included - minute inclusions that are invisible to the naked eye and seen only with difficulty under 10x magnification.
  
  
• SI1-SI2 Slightly Included - invisible to the naked eye, yet easily seen by an experienced grader under 10x magnification.
  
  
• I1-I3 Included - inclusions are visible to the naked eye and affect brilliance.

Stones that are VVS2 to F are very rare and thus very expensive. Most couples will opt for something between SI2 and VS1, and will never know the difference.

Caret:This refers to the size of the stone. While some value caret above all, others prefer a small ring regardless of budget. If you're buying a ring as a surprise for someone, consider how flashy their other jewelry is. If they're not someone who wears a lot of designer labels or big jewelry, perhaps you'll want to opt for a smaller stone. This site has a very useful chart to see how the most common sizes look on a model's hand. Ideally, you'll be able to try on a variety of sizes within your budget to see which size looks best on you or your love.

Investment
While jewelers love to tell you that a diamond ring is a great investment, that's not necessarily true. Diamond's may or may not increase in value, but "antique" rings rarely cost as much as new ones do, because of wear and tear. Instead of looking at rings for their investment value, buy ones that symbolize your love, and that you'll want to wear for the rest of your lives.

Before you buy a diamond ring
Before you buy, ask the retailer to provide you with an AGS Certificate or a GIA Certificate. You'll also want them to verify that the stone(s) is not a conflict diamond.

Kilo!

Last weekend, pergi body treatment dekat Mary Chia. act, dis is one of my preparation for my wedding.saya ingin tampak kurus & chanteks dalam baju pengantin ku...hiksss. Sebenarnya lama dah tak pergi, last pergi pun January hari tu..i was like...mesti berat aku dah ENAM PULUH KILO ni...orr even higher??? sebab tak pernah kontrol diet, and main makan aje anything yang aku boleh pulun...and sampai kadang2 tertiddooo kepenatan dek mengunyah dengan amat sangat...

i was a bit suprised, timbang-timbang, my weight was only 56.5 kg! hehehe...i know, still berat..tapi still aku bersyukur sendiri, tak lah seburuk yang aku sangkakan...hehe!naek 3.5kg!..huuu~. So today onwards, aku mahu stick pada diet plan. NO MORE eating2 malam.. *walaupun semalam sudah terkantoi makan sampai buncit, dek tewas dengan godaan pasar malam*

tapi, what past is past...*pandaila ko* chaiyok! berusahae..
