Reverse Confetti April Hop - Easter Bunny Treats

Welcome to Reverse Confetti's April Blog Hop! You have likely arrived here from Amy Kolling's blog, and you'll head to the talented Tricia Barber's blog next. If not, you can begin the hop at the Reverse Confetti blog. I'll have the full hop order at the end of this post.

For today, I've put together some Easter Bunny treats using some various RC goodies. I adhered two STITCHED HEX TAGS together along just the sides, decorated the face as a bunny, and used it as a treat sleeve. So easy!

To create the bunny's eyes, I layered three circle dies and used a fourth tiny circle to made highlights on the eyes. From big to small, the circle dies I used are: DETAILED CIRCLES, CIRCLE WISHES (ink-blended with ICED AQUA ink) DOTS TAG LAYER, and another CIRCLE WISHES for the tiny cut-out.

The ears were done with the MOD FLORAL STACK Confetti Cuts dies. I used the largest and smallest dies, cut the die-cut in half and layered them together.

On the gray bunny, I added the "happy easter" tag. The sentiment is from HIPPITY HOPPITY, and the tag is from the BOX WRAP Confetti Cuts set.

I cut three lengths of string for whiskers and adhered the thread behind a wood veneer flower. I sponged on some rosy cheeks with PIGGY BANK ink, then hand-drew the mouth using a black pen. TIP: trace around a small circle die to get perfect curves for the mouth (the white bunny is freehand, the gray one is traced, see the difference?!)

Thanks for visiting!

Countdown to Confetti - Christmas Circles + Drink More Coffee

It's new release time at Reverse ConfettiJoin us today through Wednesday for our Countdown to Confetti, and again on Thursday for our New Release Hop. The November release includes five stamp sets, seven Confetti Cuts, and one 6x6 paper pad. Today we are featuring CHRISTMAS CIRCLES and DRINK MORE COFFEE (yum!).

All of the new products will be available for purchase at midnight ET on the 8th.

We love giveaways! Two chances to win a Reverse Confetti gift certificate: 1) Leave comments on each designer's blog; 2) Head over to our Reverse Confetti Facebook page for an additional giveaway.

I have a few creations to share today, beginning with these little treat sacks. The basic sacks/totes/boxes were created with the SCALLOPED BAG & TAGS CREATOR, which is a scalloped take on September's pinked-edge BAG & TAGS CREATOR set. I love making these treat sacks. They couldn't be any easier!

This first one was cut from RC Aqua card stock. The stitched perimeter square window die is included in the SCALLOPED BAG & TAGS CREATOR set. I stamped the little circle pattern with an image you'll see more of tomorrow and then tied on a simple tag done with the CHRISTMAS CIRCLES set. The layered tag dies are also in SCALLOPED BAG & TAG CREATOR.

This next one was created with a polka dot pattern from the new WINTER SOLSTICE paper pad. I turned over the scalloped edge on this one, punched two holes through the middle scallop and tied the sack together with some twine and another CHRISMAS CIRCLES tag.

And then for the last one, I first die-cut a panel of Piggy Bank cardstock with the Stitched Rays Cover Panel Confetti Cuts, then cut it with the SCALLOPED BAG & TAGS CREATOR die. I added some WINTER SOLSTICE accents and another CHRISTMAS CIRCLES tag. I adhered it to a second panel around the left, right and bottom to create a flat sack. Perfect size to hold gift cards.

My next project features DRINK MORE COFFEE as well as a new Confetti Cuts: the GRID STITCHED TAG (new favorite!)

I started by randomly stamping the coffee mugs onto a Cloud White card stock panel, embossing in white, and watercoloring in rich browns and grays. I die-cut the GRID STITCHED TAG from vellum and heat embossed a DRINK MORE COFFEE sentiment in black.

The stitching detail on the GRID STITCHED TAG shows up much better on card stock, but you can kind of see it here. I added a topper from Dark Roast card stock and some natural jute string to finish.

I'm on the Reverse Confetti blog today kicking off a brand-new Confetti Camera theme: For A Friend. This round, we'll be focusing on card and gift ensembles for a friend.

What is Confetti Camera? Each week, one of the Confetti Crew designers takes a turn interpreting the theme. Today is my turn!

Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

Papertrey Ink September Release - Dashing Through The Snow Collection

Welcome to Day Four of Papertrey Ink's September release countdown.

Today I'll be sharing some products from Betsy Veldman's DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW COLLECTION. This collection includes die sets for a train, a pick-up truck, and a sleigh, as well as a stamp set that coordinates with all three die sets. You're in for a treat. These are sooooo cute!

You can find all the details about these new products HERE.

The September Release products will be available at 10 pm September 15 in the Papertrey Ink store.

I've put together a "North Pole Express" Christmas train to share with you using DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW: TRAIN dies and DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW SENTIMENTS images. Be sure to watch Betsy's assembly video, which will make putting these together easy.

All three vehicles are designed to be treat holders if you'd like to use them for gift-giving. But they are adorable as holiday decor as well.

The basic construction includes a rounded front engine and a more boxy cab. The cab is the part where you can house your treats or small gift.

After assembling the basic train, I did a little decorating using the DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW SENTIMENTS stamps and a few other sets.

The "24" on the front, the "North Pole Express," and the scroll details for the cab window are all from DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW SENTIMENTS. I added some Christmas greens from another September release set. The snowflakes on top of the cab are from WINTER FOX, also in this month's release. I looked through my stamp sets for something I could use as "steam" and found an image in an unlikely place: FOREST FLOOR: SPRING. Love when that happens!

For one final embellishment, I added some jingle bells to the steam pipe.

And then here's a look at the inside. If you adhere the lid on just one side, you'll have a box for gift-giving. I can't wait to make more of these in all sorts of color combos. And I'm sure you, too, are already thinking of ways to use this beyond Christmas -- baby showers, baby decor, birthday favors, and more!

For a look at the other "vehicles" in the DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW collection, as well as today's other featured products, visit the Papertrey Ink blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Reverse Confetti September Release Hop

It's Release Day at Reverse Confetti!

7 stamp sets
9 Confetti Cuts dies
1 6x6 paper pad

All of the new products now available in the Reverse Confetti store.

Join the Confetti Crew today for a blog hop to celebrate. The hop begins on the Reverse Confetti blog. You should have arrived here from Melissa Phillips's blog.  and you'll head to Lydia Fiedler's blog next. (The full hop order is down below, too.)

I couldn't resist making more gift sacks using the BAG & TAGS CREATOR die set. I just love these!

My first bag features HOLIDAY GNOMES. Oh my goodness, they are just too adorable! I cut two pieces from the BAG & TAGS CREATOR and simply taped them together on three sides.

All of the HOLIDAY GNOMES images are stamped and colored with Copics, except for the house, which as paper pieced from one of the ABUNDANT AUTUMN patterns. I used a PIERCED ROUND TOP LAYERS die for the white "snowy" base and just cut the top into a wavy shape with scissors (most of that is covered up anyway). The pierced edge along the bottom and sides is a fun detail, and the size fits these bags perfectly.

This bag was cut from LEAD card stock. I stamped the base with white pigment ink, tucked in some tissue paper, and added a simple tag with the tag dies from BAG & TAGS CREATOR.

For this next bag, I used the tag dies as ornaments. They were so quick to assemble!

The greens are from CHRISTMAS CANDLES, the little snowflakes in the background are from HOLIDAY GNOMES, and the sentiment is from the previously released SENTIMENTAL CHRISTMAS.

The bag base here is actually kraft wrapping paper -- the kind that comes on the big wrapping paper rolls. Because it's much thinner than card stock, this bag has more give and will hold something a little more bulky.

For my last bag, I went with a beautiful Christmas red.

The wreath was diecut using the LEAFY WREATH Confetti Cuts dies. I added some greenery from CHRISTMAS CANDLES and a sentiment from TRIANGLE TREES

The bag was cut from SALSA card stock that I stamped in both white pigment ink and SALSA INK using the greenery images from CHRISTMAS CANDLES.

I'm excited to use these this holiday season for gift cards and small candy treats!

Those gnomes! 💗
