August Rush!

.

Mais um mês quase a acabar e que passou a voar! E nem um post aqui! Para (não) variar, mês atribulado! Incluiu muito trabalho, algum (pouco!) descanso também e alguns acontecimentos importantes!

Um deles foi o 30º aniversário da querida Annette no passado dia 10! Teve um aniversário muito especial, recheada de miminhos e boas surpresas que acho que ela nunca esquecerá, incluindo a visita surpresa da nossa amiga Valérie! Ambas deliraram, claro!

Também não quis deixar passar a data em branco, obviamente, por isso enviei-lhe alguns miminhos! Umas prendinhas para os filhotes, a Kira e o Noah e para ela também, claro!

Como ando com muito pouco tempo para fazer algo mais elaborado em ponto cruz ou em scrap, optei por lhe oferecer um album que fiz num workshop há uns meses e que achei perfeito para ela, já que o tema é de flores e jardins. Como a Annette adora o seu jardim e cuidar dele, achei que seria o ideal :))

E consegui fazer um postal de aniversário, singelo, mas feito de coração! :)

Ainda em finais de Julho, tinha sido a vez da Nia de fazer mais um aninho! E lá fiz mais um postal para assinalar a data especial. Não consegui fazer mais nada handmade, por isso enviei-lhe um caderninho da Gorjuss para ela fazer as suas listinhas :)

No passado fim-de-semana fiz mais 2 postais ...mês cheio de aniversários este!! :D

E continuo a fazer o meu bloquinho do Jingles deste mês e estou a acabar mais um bordado para um bebé que está quase a nascer! Mostro-vos em breve!

Another month is almost over and it has passed flying! And not even a post here! To (not) change a little, it was a troubled month! Included a lot of work, some (little!) rest and also some important events! 

One of those was the 30th anniversary of the dear Annette on the 10th! She had a very special birthday, full of good surprises, sweet gifts, which i think she will never forget, including a surprise visit from our friend Valérie! Both were over the moon, of course! 

I also didn't want to pass the date blank, obviously, so i sent her some goodies! Little gifts for her sweet kids, Kira and Noah and for her too, of course! 

Since i haven't been much time to do something more elaborate in cross stitch or scrap, i chose to offer her an album that i did in a workshop a few months ago, which i found perfect for her, since the theme was flowers and gardens. As Annette loves her garden and take care of him with so much love, i thought that would be ideal for her :)) 

And managed to make a birthday card, simple but made ​​from the heart! :) 

Also in late July, had been the turn of Nia to have her birthday! And so i made another postcard to mark the special date. I could not do anything handmade, so i sent her a notebook of Gorjuss so she can keep doing her "To-do" lists :)

Last weekend i did two more cards ... a month full of birthdays!! : D 

And i keep doing my August block from Jingles and also finishing another stitches for a baby that is about to be born! Will show you soon!

Como previa, estas semanas foram meio loucas, mas tudo se conseguiu fazer. Claro que agora precisava de 1 mês de férias, mas não pode ser. Pelo menos só faltam 3 semanas para as minhas 2 semanas de férias...já será bem bom:))

O meu Guilherme fez 3 anos na semana passada e foi tão bom! Teve direito a festinha na creche e depois uma em casa com a familia nessa noite e uma em grande no fim-de-semana com mais familia e amigos...por isso, adorou estes dias, claro! E no meio ainda teve a festinha de final do ano da creche! Dias em cheio!

Eu também adorei, óbvio, mas foram dias bem agitados e cheios de afazeres, como imaginam, para poder correr tudo bem, por isso estou estafada! lol Mas agora há que trabalhar :)

Os meus crafts, confesso, estes mês estagnaram! Já comecei o bloquinho do Jingles...mas está a ir muitoooo devagar! :p

Entretanto tenho falhado em vos mostrar uma prendinha bem especial que uma amiga querida me enviou. Já enviou na Páscoa, mas já sabem como é...o tempo passa e não há tempo para nada!

Mas vejam a linda almofadinha que a Valérie me enviou!! É linda...adorei! Ela sabe que sou fã das almofadas dela e, mais uma vez, adorei esta que ela fez especialmente para mim! Obrigada minha querida! :)

E a querida Annette também me enviou na mesma altura uns brinquedos para o Guilherme! Um para ele pintar ovinhos e outro para construir várias formas com pecinhas pequenas que ele adorou!

As expected, these weeks were a bit insane, but it all got done. Of course now i needed 1 month of vacation, but it can not be. At least it's only missing 3 weeks for my 2 week vacation ... it will be great! :)) 

Guilherme made three years old last week and it was so good! Was entitled to have a little party at daycare and then one at home with the family that night and a big one on the weekend with more family and friends ... so he loved these days, of course! And in the middle he still had a little party for the end of the year in the kindgarden! Full days! 
I also loved, obviously, but were shaken well and full of chores day, as you can imagine, to be able to all turn out okay, so i'm worn out! lol But now we must work :) 
I want to show you some pictures of his birthday party :) (little things made ​​by my sister, of course :))

My crafts, i confess, had stopped for this month! I have already begun the little block of this month of the Jingles ... but it's going veryyyy slowly! : p 

Meanwhile i failed to show you a very special little present that a dear friend sent me. She already sent it at Easter but you already know how it goes... time passes and no time for anything! 
But look at the beautiful cushion that Valerie sent me! It's beautiful ... i just loved it! She knows i'm a fan of her little pillows and once again, i loved that she made this one especially for me! Thank you my dear! :)

And dear Annette has sent me at the same time some toys for Guilherme! One for him to paint eggs, and another to build various shapes with small little pieces that he loved it!

A Butterfly Special Album :)

Em Março foi o aniversário da minha querida amiga Valérie e uns meses antes já tinha decidido fazer-lhe um álbum. Andava apenas à procura dos papéis especiais para o fazer quando em Janeiro saiu uma colecção nova, a qual, assim que a vi, me fez terminar a minha procura.:)

Os papéis eram lindos, cheios de pormenores, alguns com glitter que lhes dá logo um toque especial, com o tema principal de borboletas e, inclusivé, algumas frases em francês. Tinham de ser aqueles os papéis para o album da Valérie, claro :)

A execução demorou algum tempo, pois, já se sabe, o tempo livre não abunda, mas o carinho e amizade dão-nos força e alento para tudo e o imaginar a cara e alegria da Valérie a receber o álbum, ainda dava mais vontade de terminar a tempo e horas. E consegui! :)

Esperei ansiosamente pela reacção dela, a qual foi ainda mais do que eu esperava. A alegria dela a falar do quanto tinha adorado foi tudo para mim :) Adorei realmente fazer-lhe esta prenda tão especial, já que a amizade dela vale isso e muito mais :))

Fica um cheirinho do álbum e, no final, um vídeo que a minha mana editou para dar uma perspectiva mais real :)

March was the birthday of my dear friend Valerie and a few months before i had already decided to make her an album. I was looking for the right papers to do it when in January a new collection came out, which, as soon as i saw it, made me end my search.:)

The papers were beautiful, full of details, some with glitter which gives them a special touch, and with the main theme of butterflies and even a few phrases in French. Had to be those papers to make Valérie's album, of course :)

The execution took some time, because we already know, free time is scarce, but the affection and friendship give us strength and encouragement to all and imagine the joy of Valérie's face receiving the album, made me even more desire to finish it on time. And i did it! :)

I waited anxiously for her reaction, which was even more than i expected. Her joy talking about how much she had loved it was everything to me :) I really loved to make her this gift so special, as her friendship is worth that and more :))

E mais uma Páscoa passou e eu, mesmo nunca tendo ligado muito à Páscoa, gostei bastante da deste ano:) Foi um dia em que conseguimos juntar a família toda e foi muito bom, mesmo com chuva e frio! E no final do dia a minha equipa de futebol ainda venceu o campeonato, portanto foi um dia mesmo especial!! :D (para as meninas estrangeiras, estou a falar do grande Benfica :D)

Espero que tenham tido todas uma fantástica Páscoa, recheada de docinhos bons, e, acima de tudo, muita saúde e alegria com a família:)

Uns dias antes do grande encontro de scrap que fui e que já vos contei, foi altura de outra grande celebração, os anos da minha irmã :D

Gosto sempre de tentar fazer-lhe alguma coisa em scrap e este ano resolvi fazer um layout para colocar num quadro. Só fiz um uma vez para oferecer ao marido como prenda do dia do Pai e, confesso, que não é muito fácil...pelo menos para mim!
Levei horas a pensar como fazer o arranjo das fotos, o que colocar, que folha de fundo escolher....é que nem sequer podemos ir colando as coisas pois podemos-nos arrepender e já não dá para tirar.

Mas depois de estragar uma folha e mudar 1000 vezes a disposição, este foi o resultado final!

Acho que até ficou fofo....simples:) Pelo menos acho que mostra o quanto ela é especial na minha vida :)
Tenham um grande fim-de-semana meninas, que eu também estou a ter! :)

And one more Easter has passed and i, that never really felt very connected to Easter time, quite liked the one this year :) It was a day that the whole family got together and it was very good ,despite the rain and cold! 
And at the end of the day my football team even won the championship, so it was a really special day! : D (for foreign girls, i'm talking about the great Benfica: D) 
I hope you all had a fantastic Easter, full of good sweets, and, above all, many health and joy with family :)

A few days before the big scrap meeting that i went and have told you about, it was time for another big celebration, my sister's birthday: D 
I always like to try to make her something in scrap and this year i decided to do her a layout to put in a frame. Just did one once for father's day, to Guilherme give to his father, and, i confess, it is not very easy ... at least for me! 
It took me hours to think how to make the arrangement of photos, what to put around them, to choose the bottom sheet .... and we can't put things along we feel like, because after glue things, we can't go back!
But after ruining a sheet and change the layout a thousand times, this was the finish result!

I think it turned out cute .... simple :) At least i think that shows how much she is special in my life :)

Birthday & Friendship = Hapiness :')

No passado dia 12 foi o meu aniversário e, como acho que é do conhecimento geral, eu adoro fazer anos!:D (mesmo aproximando-me a passos largos dos 40:p)

O dia começou da melhor maneira...sem trabalhar! (eu recuso-me a trabalhar no dia do meu aniversário:p) 

O Gui ainda estava a recuperar de uma virose que teve e passou a manhã a dormitar mais o pai e aproveitei e fui ter com a minha irmã para tomarmos o pequeno-almoço juntas...e sozinhas...coisa bem rara ultimamente! Foi mto bom!:)

Quando voltei para casa foi hora de abrir 2 pacotinhos que me tinham chegado no dia anterior e que me estavam a causar muita surpresa! E foram mesmo as minhas primeiras prendas do dia!

A primeira (e sem ordem especial!) chegou da linda cidade berço de Portugal, Guimarães, da querida Nia!

Imaginem...um kit de mais uma linda Gorjuss!! Ainda por cima adivinhou que esta era uma das minhas preferidas!! Amei! E com um laço fofissimo! E acompanhada de um lindo postal da mesma bonequinha. Obrigada amiga! Não tarda começo mais uma bonequinha e graças a tiii:))

De seguida, directamente de França, da querida Valérie, um presente lindooooo! Aliás, vários!! O principal foi uma linda caixinha toda pintada à mão pelo marido que é muito talentoso nestas artes!! Ele sabe que eu gosto desta boneca e resolveu pintá-la para mim numa linda caixinha! Não ficou um amor??

E como se não bastasse, a caixinha vinha recheada de coisinhas super fofas!! (adoro aquelas peças de madeira...vão ficar lindas no meu scrap!) E ainda enviou mais umas linhas da DMC de linho! Eu desconhecia que existiam e ela foi uma querida e enviou-me estas todas para eu experimentar! E mais uns autocolantes que também vão dar um jeitão no meu scrap! E ainda um bloquinho muito fofo e um postalzinho lindo escrito numa caligrafia maravilhosa e cheia de amizade!! Obrigada por tudo, amiga! A ti e ao maridão que foi um querido em oferecer-me uma coisa tão linda!! :) Não tenho palavras suficientes para agradecer!!:')

Fui mesmo muito mimada por estas 2 amigas lindas!
E, mais tarde, também o fui pela minha familia, com quem passei uma noite fantástica!

Aqui o maridão da casa ainda me ofereceu uma Cinch, que é uma máquina de encadernação para utilizar nos meus projectos de scrap que eu já andava a namorar há meses e que é maravilhosa!! Ninguém me pára agora a fazer álbuns ahaha
E, por fim (mas não em último!) ainda recebi (além de um estojo lindoooo da Gorjuss!) um álbum maravilhoso feito pela minha mana (em tempo recorde!) onde ela juntou fotos desde que éramos bebés até aos dias de hoje...amei!! ♥
Não posso mostrar as páginas todas pois há lá fotos minhas que deviam ser proibidas sequer de existir (lol) mas deixo-vos 2 páginas muito especiais:')

Ah e estas 2 pessoas tão especiais da minha vida ainda me surpreenderam com um fantástico bolo de aniversário! Vejam só!

Para quem não reconhece...é uma sizzix! Uma máquina que corta papel (e não só) das mais variadas formas e feitios e que é uma das minhas ferramentas preferidas do scrapbook:)
E agora, descubram as diferenças! ahaha

Enfim, tive um dia fantástico, rodeado de pessoas especiais e que me fazem acreditar que tudo é possível, desde que os tenha sempre ao meu lado!! :)
E obrigada a vocês também por estarem desse lado;)

On the past 12th it was my birthday and as I think we all know , i always love my birthday : D (even approaching dangerously of the forthy: p)
The day started in the best way ... without working ! (I refuse to work on my birthday :p)
Guilherme was still recovering from a virus that he had for a whole week, so he and his father spent the morning sleeping on sofa and i could have breakfast with my sister ...just the 2 of us ... something very rare these days ! It was very good :)
When I got home it was time to open 2 parcels that had arrived the day before and that were causing me much surprise ! And they were my first gifts of the day !

The first (and in no particular order!) arrived from the beautiful city, birthplace of Portugal , Guimarães , from dear Nia !
Imagine ... a kit of another beautiful Gorjuss! Moreover she guessed that this was one of my favorites! Loved it! And with a super cute bow! Accompanied by a beautiful postcard of the same doll . Thank you my dear friend! Soon i will start another Gorjuss and thanks to youuu :) )

Then, directly from France, dear Valérie, a beautiful gift! In fact, several! The main one was a beautiful box all painted by hand by her Hubby who is very talented in these arts ! He knows I like this doll and decided to paint it for me in a beautiful box ! Isn't it the cutest thing??
And on top of it , the box came filled with super cute little things! (I love those pieces of wood... will be beautiful on my scrap:p ) And she also sent me a few linen threads from DMC! I did not know that they existed and she was a sweetheart and sent me all of these for me to try and i look forward to it!! Also sent me a few stickers that will be very handy on my scrapbook! And a a little lovely notebook and a beautiiful postcard whith such a wonderful calligraphy and full of friendship! Thanks for everything, my friend! To you and to Hubby who was a dear to offer me something so beautiful! :) I do not have enough words to thank you both!

I was really spoiled by these two beautiful friends! And later, also was by my family, with whom i spent a fantastic evening!
My Hubby even offered me a Cinch (a bindery machine) to use in my scrap projects! I was already dating this for months and it is wonderful ! Nobody stops me now doing albums ahaha
And last (but not least!) still got (plus a pencil case of the beautiful Gorjuss!) an scrapbook album made ​​by my wonderful sister (in record time!) where she joined photos since we were babies up to today . Just loved it..! ♥
I can not show all the pages because there are pictures of me that should be prohibited from even exist ( lol ) but I leave you two very special pages from a lovely album : ' )

Oh...and these 2 special peoples from my life, had surprised me whith a fantastic birthday cake!! Look it!!
For those who don't know what it is, it's a Sizzix! A machine that cuts paper (and other materials) in many different shapes and its one of my favourite tools from scrapbooking:)
And now...look for the differences! ahaha

Anyway, I had a fantastic day, and surrounded by special people that makes me believe that anything is possible, since i always have them by my side ! :)
And thank you too for being on that side too ;)

Olá meninas! :) Voltei há 3 dias do Algarve, onde estive uma semana com o maridão e o Gui e também com os meus pais e irmã que se juntaram a nós durante 3 dias.
Foi muito bom e o Gui adorou...ainda estava na praia se fosse por ele. Aprendeu muitas palavras novas nesta semana com todo aquele estímulo e novidade. É uma fase fantástica esta, a dos 2 anos...são todas, mas esta como é o inicio da fala e da comunicação connosco, é o máximo...todos os dias há novidades:)

Bem e eu fui de férias com o meu bordado actual para terminar e mais um novo para começar...conclusão....não peguei nem um minuto em nada!! Só dava para bordar à noite, mas como o Gui dormia, obviamente, no nosso quarto, tínhamos que ter a luz apagada ou apenas uma luz muito ténue que dava, no máximo, para ler e não muito tempo, pois fazia doer os olhos. Portanto, nada de bordados:(
Não faz mal...em 3 dias já bordei um pouco e também já fiz scrap! Há tempo para tudo, certo?:)

Hoje quero-vos mostrar uns postais que fiz ultimamente. O primeiro foi para a Nia, no seu aniversário. Enviei-lhe também uns miminhos da Gorjuss (que eu adoro tanto que também tive de comprar para mim ahaha) mas o verdadeiro presente dela ainda não está terminado, acreditam?? Quase 3 semanas depois! Ai ai...mas a "coisa" teve alguns problemas técnicos e tal....mas está quase! Só espero que valha a pena a espera!!

 (estou viciada na minha máquina de fazer envelopes...as possibilidades são endless!)

Depois foi o maridão a fazer anos e, finalmente, fiz-lhe um postal! lol Desde que me iniciei no scrapbooking que ainda não lhe tinha feito nenhum, à excepcção de um layout numa tela no dia do pai (também vos mostrei aqui), portanto desta vez teve direito a postal. Cheguei à conclusão que tenho pouco material para fazer postais para homens!! lol Ainda levou com um bonequito...mas ele não achou que fosse demasiado fofo ahah

No ponto cruz continuo com o meu w.i.p. de momento que é o SAL#4 do blog da Margaret Sherry....estou prestes a terminá-lo.

Neste momento está bem mais avançado do que nesta foto que já foi tirada há uns dias...logo vos mostro o final, pois está mesmo quase:)

E entretanto, comecei ontem um bordado novo (ás vezes gosto de variar entre 2 trabalhos) ...alguém adivinha o que será? eheheh

Hello girls! :) I came back 3 days ago from Algarve, where I was for a whole week with hubby and Guilherme and also with my parents and sister that have joined us for 3 days.

It was a great week and little Gui loved it... if it was for him, we were still on the beach! He had learned many new words this week with all that stimulation and everything new around him. This is a fantastic stage, the 2 years old... they all are, but this one as it's the beginning of speech and communication with us, is just amazing ... every day there are new things :)

Well and i went on holiday with my latest sticthes to finish and a new one to start... and the thing was that i didn't do a simple stitch! As i only could stitch at evening, but as guilherme slept, obviously, in our room, we had to have the lights off or just a very faint light that at the most i could read and not for too long because it hurt my eyes. Therefore, no stitching for a week: ( 

But that's ok ... in these last 3 days I've stitched a bit and have also made some scrapbooking! There's time for everything, right? :)

Today I want to show you some cards i've made lately. The first one was to Nia, for her birthday. I also sent her some goodies from Gorjuss (which i also love so much that i also had to buy to me ahaha) but the true gift it is not finished yet, can you believe it? Almost three weeks later! Ai ai ... but the "thing" had some technical problems and so .... but is almost done! I just hope it will worth the wait!

Then was hubby's birthday and i finally made ​​him a postcard! lol Since i've started in scrapbooking that i had not yet done him any card, just a layout on a screen on father's day (that i've ahd also shown you here), so this time he had the right to a card just for him lol. And i got to the conclusion that i do not have many stuff for making boy's postcards! lol I still had to put a little doll ... but he did not think it was too much cute ahah

In cross stitch i keep going with my w.i.p., which is the SAL # 4 from the Margaret Sherry blog .... I am about to finish it.

It is far more advanced than in this photo that was taken a few days ago... i'll show you soon the final result, because it's almost done:)

And yesterday i've started a new work (sometimes I like to vary between 2 works) ... will someone guest what it is? ehehe

Finalmente parece que o verão chegou a sério! Nem acredito! O frio (ainda em junho!) e a chuva (também em Junho!) deu finalmente lugar ao sol e calor como há muito não se via por aqui! Aleluia:D

E o sol trouxe com ele vibrações mais positivas, porque aqui por casa ultimamente a chuva deve ter atraído só coisas negativas e tivémos uns dias complicados. Mas o sol ajuda a tudo, até à nossa disposição e a semana passada foi cheia de coisas boas! 

Começou logo por estarmos finalmente uma semaninha de férias! Fomos 2 dias até Cascais, apenas para mudar de ares, porque nessa altura o tempo continuava chuvoso e com frio e nem um pezinho pudémos aproveitar na piscina do hotel. Mas passeámos e descansámos...pelo menos o possível com uma criança de 2 anos ahaha

E ainda conseguimos ir ao ocenário em Lisboa....estive lá uma vez na altura em que abriu (há uns 15 anos  atrás lol) e agora quisémos ir mostrar os peixinhos e outros animais ao Gui...foi bem giro e ele gostou imenso:)

Entretanto no dia 19 o nosso Guilherme fez 2 anos! Como o tempo passa! Parece que foi noutro dia que o tive nas mãos pela primeira vez! Enchemo-lo de mimos nesse dia e à noite cantamos-lhe os parabéns e ele tinha aprendido bem a lição porque soprou as velas sozinho lol (andei o dia todo a ensinar-lhe ahaha)

Depois no sábado seguinte fizémos-lhe uma festinha com a nossa família e amigos mais próximos e foi muito bom ter a casa cheia de gente amiga e de sorrisos e alegria:)

E a semana ainda terminou com mais uma bela noticia: depois de 4 meses finalmente consegui ter de volta o meu computador!! Que diferença poder ter um computador só para mim e com todas as minhas coisinhas! ahhh :)

Entretanto, nas férias, escolhi o desenho a bordar para a troca do blog da Margaret Sherry fãs e já o terminei e hoje vou finalizar o projecto que idealizei para o colocar...espero que corra bem...até porque tenho que enviar tudo na proxima semana! :) Como sabem, é surpresa, por isso depois da minha parceira o receber, mostro-vos :) Também tenho mais umas coisinhas a mostrar mas como ainda andam em trânsito, continuam a ser segredo ehehe

E com tudo isto tive de deixar a minha Gorjuss de lado :( Mas está mesmo quase! Será um dos meus primeiros objectivos assim que terminar a troca :)

Finally it seems that summer has arrived for seroius! I can not believe! The cold (even in June!) and rain (also in June!) finally gave way to sun and heat as long not seen around here! Hallelujah: D

And the sun brought with it more positive vibes, because here lately the rain must have attracted only negative things and we had a few complicated days. But the sun helps everything, even at our disposal and last week was full of good things!

Started just with finally a hole holiday week! We were two days in Cascais (near Lisbon), just to clear out our heads a little and at that time the weather was rainy and cold and we coulnd't even put a little foot in the hotel pool. :( But we walked a lot and rested ... at least the possible rest we can have with a 2 year old kid ahaha

And we still went to Ocenarium in Lisbon .... i haven't been there since the time it opened (about 15 years ago lol) and now we wanted to go show the fish and other animals to Gui ... was working well and he liked a lot :)

Meanwhile on the 19th, our Guilherme turned two years old! How time flies! Seems like just the other day that i hold him in my hands for the first time! We filled him with treats and love that day and in the evening we sang him happy birthday and he had learned his lesson well because he blew the candles all alone lol (i went all day showing him how to do it ahaha)

Then the following Saturday we made him a little party with our family and closest friends and it was very nice to have a house full of friendly people and smiles and joy :)

And the week ended with yet another great news: after four months i finally got my computer back! What difference it is i can have a computer just for me and with all my things! ahhh :)

Meanwhile, on vacation, I chose the design to sticth to the exchange from Margaret Sherry fan Blog and  i already finished today and will finalize the project this weekend ... I hope it goes well ... because I have to send it next week! :) As you know, it's a secret, so after my partner receive it, i'll show you :) I also have a few more things to show but as they are still in transit, it has to remain secret ehehe

And with all this I had to leave my Gorjuss a little behind:( But it's almost done! Is one of my first goals once i finish the exchange :)
