Last Friday the 13th we got treated to a marvelous thunderstorm.
Since skywatching is one of my favorite past times, I didn't hide away in my house. Instead, I rushed down to the dock at Washington Park and watched as the storm unfolded.
Here are three shots that I took over about an hour period of time.
Unfortunately I couldn't capture any of the lightning that was striking around me and across the water.
Amazingly enough, boaters continued to come and go as the storm passed over us.
When I got home, the power was out until 5 am the next morning -
it was worth it!
Happy skywatching wherever you may be!
