Ik had het al eerder gemeld dat ik met "iets" bezig was en vandaag kan ik verklappen wat dat is. Ik ben gevraagd om Guest Designer te zijn voor
Lily Pad Cards. Ik voel me natuurlijk heel erg vereerd om dit te doen!
Ze hebben me gevraagd vijf kaarten te ontwerpen, die vandaag te zien zijn op hun site. Natuurlijk wil ik ze ook op mijn blog laten zien. Ik heb geprobeerd zoveel mogelijk mijn favoriete stempelmerken en technieken terug te laten komen in de kaarten die ik heb gemaakt. Ik ben heel erg benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden?!
De
roosjes op deze kaart had ik jullie al laten zien, maar nu dus ook het kaartje waar ze op zitten. De stempel van het meisje is van Stamp Camp. Ik heb het ingekleurd met Copic Markers.
Voor de achtergrond heb ik kleine clearstamp setjes van Prima gebruikt en de border in het midden is van Crafty Individuals. Deze heb ik gestempeld met Archival (kleur: coffee).
De randjes heb ik bewerkt met een paper distresser van Tim Holtz.
De labeltjes heb ik gemaakt met een pons van Make Me.

I colored the girl stamp with Copic Markers.
The background was stamped with the Archival ink
I used a paper distresser for the edges of the paper. Then I used a sponge for coloring the edges to create a distress look.
The roses were made with Marianne Design Creatables (English Rose)

The little labels were made with a label punch.
De stempel van de flower fairy en de tekst is van Crafter's Companion. De flower fairy heb ik gekleurd met Copic Markers en uitgeknipt.
Voor de achtergrond heb ik de techniek gebruikt die Hermine Koster heeft beschreven in de laatste Art Specially Magazine. Ik noem het daarom de "Hermine techniek".

- Stabilo Woody 3-1;
- White acrylpaint;
- Puncinella/sequin waste;
- Black ink;
- Black fineliner.
I colored the fairy with Copic Markers and cut it out.
For the background I used striped patterned paper. I coated the paper with gesso. I colored the coated paper with Stabilo Woody 3-1. Then I applied a layer white acrylpaint.
After that I used puncinella/ sequin waste and adirondack ink to apply the colored dots with a sponge.
I made triangles with maskertape and stamped the text with black ink.
The shadow around the flower fairy I made with distress ink (color: black soot). Apply this shadow befor glueing the stamped image.
I made a frame around the quote and the card itself with a fineliner 
Ik heb de bloemenstempel van Hero Arts ingekleurd met Marvy Brush Markers en afgedrukt op papier. Het leuke van rechtstreeks de stempel inkleuren met de markers is dat je de kleuren heel precies kunt aanbrengen.
De tekststempel van Hero Arts heb ik meerdere keren op de kaart van kraft cardstock gestempeld met Archival (kleur: coffee). Het labeltje is ook van Hero Arts. Deze heb ik aan een touwtje vastgemaakt.
De poststempel is van Crafty Individuals. De stitches zijn gedeeltelijk gestempeld met een clearstamp van Autumn Leaves en gedeeltelijk getekend met een bruine Stabilo stift. Om het af te maken heb ik nog een paar rondjes met dezelfde tekst als op de achtergrond geponst en opgeplakt.

I colored the flower stamp with Marvy Brush markers and then stamped it on paper.
Stitches were made with a stamp and with brown fineliner.
On the kraft paper card I stamped the text stamp with the Archival Ink.
The circles were punched after stamping the paper with the text stamp.
De vierde kaart heb ik gemaakt met stempels van Art Journey. Ik vond dat ik ook een Nederlands stempelmerk in de schijnwerpers moest zetten. En ze zijn natuurlijk ook supermooi.
Ik heb voor de achtergrond ecoline met zout gebruikt. De stempel met het jongetje heb ik eerst op de achtergrond gestempeld. Daarna heb ik het jongetje nog een keer op wit papier afgedrukt, ingekleurd met Derwent potloden, uitgeknipt en opgeplakt.
Het vlindertje heb ik ook op wit papier afgedrukt, gekleurd met potloden en uitgeknipt.
Bij de andere vlakjes heb ik rechtstreeks op de ecoline achtergrond gestempeld.

Other supplies:
- Ecoline ink;
- Wide brush
- Sea salt;
- Archival ink, color black;
- Karisma/ Derwent pencils.
For the background I used ecoline ink.
First I applied water on the paper (I used a correspondence card) with a wide brush. Then I applied the ink on the paper. You can use different colors. I used blue and green ink.
When the ink is still wet you can sprinkle seasalt on the ink to create the little "clouds" on the ink. Let the paper dry and then remove the salt.
When the paper is dry, you can stamp over it.
I stamped the little boy with text (is one stamp) on the ecoline background. I cut the paper in more pieces and stamped the other little ecoline papers.
Then I stamped the boy stamp again on white paper, colored the boy with Karisma/Derwent pencils, cut it out and glued it over the stamped boy on the ecoline paper.
The butterfly was also stamped on white paper, colored with Karisma/Derwent pencils and cut out.
Vogels en bloemen zijn favoriete thema's van mij. En dus heb ik het laatste kaartje gemaakt met de schattige vogeltjes stempel van Crafty Individuals. De bloemen zijn Hero Arts, Impression Obession en Stampers Anonymous. Op deze kaart heb ik Faber Castell Big Brush Markers gebruikt. Ook weer de stempel zelf ingekleurd en afgedrukt op papier. De kleuren zijn wat helderder dan die van de Marvy Brush Markers.
Voor de achtergrond heb ik eerst het papier gekleurd met de cover-a-card distressed denim stempel en vervolgens de tekststempel van Hero Arts gebruikt. Ook weer zo'n stempel die ik regelmatig gebruik.

I stamped the birds stamp with the Archival ink and colored it with Karisma/Derwent pencils. I sponged the edges with the Archival ink and cut it out.
For the background I colored the paper with a light blue ink on the cover-a-card stamp.
I stamped the text with distress ink, color: stormy sky.
I colored the flowerstamps with Faber Castell big brush markers and then stamped them on the background paper. I glued the little postcard with birds on the background. I stamped the post stamps and sponged the edges.
