UPDATE: Hmm. It looks like the PC version of The Cave was bumped back a day, last minute. The Steam page now says it will launch on the 24th.

Ron Gilbert and Double Fine will invite gamers to go spelunking today in their new adventure game, The Cave. So where is our review? Unfortunately, Double Fine didn't send out early PC review codes, so we're lined up at The Cave's mouth with the rest of you, head lamps on and back packs buckled tight, waiting to get in.
Officially, The Cave will be ready for download once Steam updates today at roughly 1 pm EST. Personally, I'm looking forward to it. Not only is this a Double Fine adventure game, it's a Ron Gilbert (Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island) adventure game, so that should mean fun, challenging puzzles with lots of laughs. There's also a Trine-like platform spin on this one, with seven playable characters, each with their own unique abilities players can put to use to overcome obstacles. See them all below:
