In the gaming world, that translates to "I can't wait much longer to spend my money." Thank god for preorders, eh? The Cave is now pre-purchasable for $15 on its Steam page. The TF2 items that come with the preorder are pictured above. Why, yes, I do believe that's the hillbilly character's hat and facial hair, ready to transplant onto your brutish, manly Heavy. Lucky you! And how about that teddy? Adorable.
Steam still lists The Cave's release merely as "January 2013," but it's really not long to go now. The last time we had any real contact with Gilbert's adventure-gaming brilliance was back in 2010 with Deathspank, and it's been too long. Which of the seven characters will you be taking through The Cave? Personally, I'm feeling a certain affinity with the evil twins, though I imagine the time traveler will have some super-interesting puzzle-solving methods...
