Reincarnating a classic and influential RPG franchise last seen in 1988, Wasteland 2 is the direct sequel to the first ever post-apocalyptic computer RPG. Much like its predecessor, this sequel is set in a dangerous, post-apocalyptic world, and aims to deliver a strong storyline requiring painful decisions by players and maximum re-playability for those who want to explore the depths of the game.

A few weeks ago the first screenshot of Wasteland 2 appeared, showing off a team of post-apocalyptic survivors squaring off against a giant scorpion in a ruined town. Now we no longer have to use our crappy imaginations to see what Wasteland 2 will look like in motion: this video shows the same scene, but with the camera panning, tilting, and zooming as the characters and embiggened arachnid show off their idle animations.
