Thousands of gamers got to go hands on with Firefall PvP at PAX East in March. For those of you that didn't make it to Boston, here's a lengthy look at a team deathmatch in Sunken Harbor:
In addition to releasing the PvP trailer, Red 5 announced that it has scheduled its first ever live broadcast of Firefall for Friday, May 6. Tune in to Justin.tv for a developer deathmatch featuring commentary from e-Sports broadcasters.
Firefall is a free-to-play MMO set for PC launch sometime this winter.
Sharkey says: If you're feeling the Tribes vibe after watching that trailer, there's a good reason: Tribes and Tribes 2 lead designer Scott Youngblood is on board as Firefall's lead designer.
