Quantum Conundrum leads the pack of demos for you to play while you wait for the hot dogs and burgers to be done.
Need something to do while waiting for the coals on the grill to heat up tomorrow? How does four really cool demos that are available
right now sound to you? Steam has demos for
Quantum Conundrum,
Civilization V: Gods & Kings,
Risen 2: Dark Waters, and
Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013, all of which have been released in the past couple of weeks. Just don't forget to throw the burgers on the grill, okay? The kids are getting hungry.
Realistically, it only takes about 30 minutes for the grill to get ready, so there's only time to try out one, maybe two of the four games out there. For the strategy fans you really can't do better than
Civilization V: Gods & Kings, but if you prefer open-world (with pirates!) RPGs,
Risen 2: Dark Waters.
Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 is an adaptation of the classic collectible card game, and happens to be one of the best ways to learn Magic. Finally,
Quantum Conundrum is the new first-person puzzler from Kim Swift, one of the brilliant minds behind Portal.
Be sure to keep your eye on the
Steam demos page for more freebies. Which game are you going to download first?
