Take the blue pill, the story ends. Take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland and see how deep the rabbit hole goes. Take the hot pink pill Volition is offering, and you add super powers to the over-the-top sandbox that is Saints Row: The Third in a new standalone expansion, Enter the Dominatrix.
Set immediately after the events in The Third, Enter the Dominatrix is THQ and Volition's dildo-wielding spin on The Matrix film franchise. An alien warlord has imprisoned the leader of the Saints in a virtual reality simulation of Steelport, and it's your job to free your mind and save the world.
"Faster than a speeding cyber jetbike, more powerful than a roided-out Luchadore, able to leap flying aircraft carriers in a single bound… That's the power you'll find inside the Dominatrix," THQ's Danny Bilson said in a statement. "Use it for good. Use it for evil. Use it for whatever you want. As always in Saints Row, it's up to you."
Enter the Dominatrix will not require Saints Row: The Third to play and will launch as a $30 standalone sometime this fall. THQ said more details will be revealed this summer, and it's a safe bet we'll be seeing The Dominatrix at E3 in June.
