Plus all of The Elder Scrolls games are 50% off on Steam today.
Finally. The vampire-oriented expansion for
Skyrim that those playing on Xbox 360 have had their hands on for the last month is finally out for PC. In a slight surprise announcement by Todd Hollenshead at QuakeCon, we were told that
Dawnguard is available on Steam for $20. So get ready to suck some blood, it's time to stretch those bat wings, and return to Skyrim.
If you don't have Skyrim on Steam yet and missed its sale price during the annual Steam Summer Sale, well it's your lucky day. During the first day of QuakeCon (that's today, for those not aware), the entire
Elder Scrolls series is 50% off. That puts Skyrim just under $30, while Oblivion and Morrowind have been slashed to around $7 a piece. No, Dawnguard isn't included in this sale, but it does mean you can get Skyrim
and its new expansion for less than buying Skyrim any other day. So, you might want to go ahead and take advantage of that one.
Is this enough to get you to go play Skyrim again? Did you ever stop playing? What do you hope the next expansion is? Let us know in the comments below.
