In Dirt Track Racing 2, players race against 14 other vehicles with three classes of cars: pro stock, late model and modified. In addition to driving, players can test their crew chief abilities by adjusting springs, shocks, tire pressure, stagger and more to create the fastest racing machine on the track. Competing on tracks like Terre Haute, Knoxville Raceway and Eagle Raceway, players are challenged to aggressively change racing techniques and tactics as grooves develop and change on the track.
Players will have the option to choose form two different game modes -- Career and Arcade. In Career mode players can experience a real racing career by purchasing new vehicles, making upgrades, repairing damages and paying entry fees. In Arcade mode, players can quickly and easily race in any event, on any track with any vehicle.
When the original Dirt Track Racing was first released, it was hailed as something of a miracle. The reason for the hosannas was because of the name on the box: WizardWorks.
