A Game of Dwarves is looking to be one of the more bizarre management sims I've come across lately. This new trailer put together for Gamescom reveals that you get to juggle -- you guessed it -- dwarves, sending them to hollow out dungeons for themselves while keeping them safe and well-fed.

Says the video description:
A dwarven prince on a quest to reclaim his people's old country takes the player on a journey through a continent, uncovering the buried mysteries of the Great War. With a combination of strategy and management, the player rules their settlements of dwarves, having them explore the earth and utilize its resources.
Urgh, that voice-acting... And yeah, okay, I know they're underground and stuff but seriously, so much brown. On the other hand, boy, do I love my management sims; they really appeal to that part buried deep within me that wants to control everything with an iron, dwarf-feeding fist. It's sort of looking like a cutesy Dwarf Fortress, though I'm not really seeing enough from this video alone to tell if the gameplay will be worth the purchase. What's your take?
