It's good being a Battlefield fan these days. Since the release of Battlefield 1942 last September, EA and Digital Illusions CE (DICE) have poured continuous resources into the franchise, from numerous patches and free maps with new vehicles to the excellent Road to Rome expansion earlier this year. Battlefield Vietnam is already on the way, but next up for the series: a second BF1942 expansion, entitled Secret Weapons of WWII. While Road to Rome focused mainly on new maps, Secret Weapons adds a number of novel new vehicles and gadgets that should add a few twists to the game we've come to know and love, which we recently had a chance to check out firsthand.
