There's no Batarang or utility belt, but there is a statue of the Dark Knight, an art book, a soundtrack, and an animated movie. It's the Batman: Arkham City Collector's Edition, and it's available now for pre-order for $100.

Warner Bros. Interactive, DC, and developer Rocksteady unveiled the collector's edition of the upcoming Batman sequel today, outlining a package that's sure to pull a few extra dollars from the wallets of fans.


The Batman: Arkham City Collector's Edition will include the following:
-- Custom Batman statue produced by Kotobukiya

-- Collectible art book

-- Early access to the Iceberg Lounge Challenge Map and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns skin

-- Batman: Arkham City album from WaterTower Music including original songs by hit artists, available via digital redemption

-- Bonus DC Universe animated original movie, Batman: Gotham Knight
Batman: Arkham City is in development for Windows PCs, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The game is scheduled to launch on October 18.


Sharkey says: I had to give up on collector's editions when I moved to a 600-square-foot apartment in Boston a couple years back. I just don't have room for the additional schwag. The sweet, sweet schwag. Good news for my collection, though, I'm moving to a much bigger place this fall, and it's just in time for Arkham City's release...
