Athanasia is the first MMORPG from Korean developer Isonic Online. Set in a fully 3D fantasy environment, the world of Athanasia is a sizeable one, consisting of villages, cities and plains that are home to roaming monsters. Six types of weapons, as well as various magical effects, can be used in combat with these creatures, in which characters employ specific fighting maneuvers rather than general hack-and-slash style mayhem. Players have the freedom to interact with other characters or go on a quest. Characters work to increase their skill level in their chosen discipline, whether it be woodworking, sorcery, or anything in between.
