I like to imagine Bohemia Interactive being holed up in a trench somewhere, enduring the damp and the preservative-packed tinned foods as research, to bolster the upcoming Arma 3's authenticity. "Attention to detail" is, after all, a big deal to the developers, if the repeated times it's mentioned in this new vehicle gameplay video is any indication.

The video walks us through the joys of driving a tank, shooting stuff, and threatening natural wildlife (in the form of a lazily meandering goat, which does not seem at all to give a toss about the several dozen tons of metal careening its way). The narrator explains a little about the PhysX engine used to create a natural driving sort of feel, before switching into the gunner's position to oh-so-satisfyingly hail ammunition on unsuspecting enemies. This is taken from an actual in-game mission, though we're assured that everyone's playthrough will be slightly different.
