Every so often, the Steam sale stars align to give us a day of sales so awesome that I can't help but come up with a new name for them. The "We Haven't Taken All Your Money Yet Sale" is what I'm going with this weekend, as Hotline Miami is 50% off ($5), Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is getting a free weekend along with its 50% off discount ($12.50), and the all of the old Tomb Raider games are %75 off.
If you haven't checked out Chivalry yet, I highly recommend it. It's got one of the deepest first-person melee combat systems I've ever seen, and is just a blast in general. I've disagreed with Dan's Hotline Miami review in the past, and I stand by my adoration. Pick that up to.
As far as the Tomb Raider games go, I can't say I've been a huge fan of recent sequels, but it could certainly be worth checking out the history of the series before hopping into the upcoming reboot. The Tomb Raider sale also kicks off a Square Enix weekend of deals, with fresh deals on other Square games tomorrow and Sunday.
