Another day to RETHINK

Well February is coming to a close (soon, but not yet!)
We have a few more Paper Makeup Artists very first cards to share with you!

Today we have Maria Gurnsey and honorary Paper Makeup Artist (and one of our illustrators!) Shaela Odd!

First, here's Maria's very first PMS card!

First of all, i have to say that i LOVE Maria's asthetic! Her cards always make my jaw drop to the floor. One of those, man, why cant I make cards like that! In her first card she used Gus, the birthday monster. And she used a sentiment from the monster sentiments set. I love how her card is a combo of pink, brown and black! Simply fab.

For Maria remake, use used the same sketch, but changed up the look of her card. Again, i love her card and my jaw has dropped to the floor. Here she used the raindrops and rainbows set!
Look at all the little detail like the subtle stitching over the ribbon. ACK, love it!

Ok, next up....

Now Shaela has been with us from the get go. I knew i wanted her as an addition to the team before I even made the design team call! What i didnt know at the time was what a fabulous illustrator she would be for the company! She gets me. And i love that from my illustrators!
Oh right, the card... hehe. She has used one of the first PMS fairies, Lauren in Love.
And here is her remake...

This card stuns me as well! Shaela has really developed some mad coloring skills in the last year! Of course her first card was fab, but her rethink... fabULOUS. :)

Thanks so much for dropping by today!!! We always love seeing you! :)

Time to Rethink... again...

Welcome back to another wonderful day of RETHINKING your first PMS card!
Read all about our month of rethinking HERE.

Today we have 3 Paper Makeup Artists showing you their first cards and their wonderful remakes.

First is Senior Paper Makeup Artist, Tangii Crain.

Her first PMS card....
You know i'm lovin' that color combo! haha! And her little paperpieced skirt is so cute!
Tangii used Jaina Fairy, one of the very first fairies from PMS.

Now that Tangii, she's a clever one! She took her very first card for inspiration, and then took our Makeup 4 the weekends challenge (this week it's an awesome sketch, check it out HERE)
Look at how awesome this card turned out!

And next up is Paper Makeup Artist, Randee Elsing.

Here is her first PMS card...
I love that green polka dot paper, and in fact i think i have some. Randee has just inspired me!
Randee has always loved the PMS monsters. You can often find her making some GENIUS cards using the monsters in super clever ways! Here she has used Argus with Teddy.
For her remake, she has added in the use of the Monster Sentiment Set (and some awesoem stitching might i add!). And i LOVE how she added the button to the bow!

And last but certainly not least is one of our most recent FABULOUS additions to our design team, Paper Makeup Artist Christi Snow!

Here is her very first PMS card...
I love Christi's Shabby Chic style! And again.... liking this color combo! haha! Here she has actually used 3 different PMS stamps all from our very first release! The fairy is Lauren in Love who continues to be a best seller among the Beautiful Day Fairies. She also used the butterfly from Buggy Sayings and she oh so strategically only stamped the word life from the large Art is the tree of Life wordart!

Here is her rethunk card. ;)
Again.... loving hte color combo! Ok, so i like anything with grey in it! But those papers are delish! She has again used Lauren in Love but has comboed her with one of our most recent releases, Hugs and Kisses!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please feel free to go and leave our designers some love!

November Sneak Peeks Day 3 - A monster of a day!

Hello friends! Please be sure to read all the way to the bottom of the post. We have some important information for you.

Today we have some new monsters (and a new tree!) to show you! All images designed by Steve Hammond, our resident monster madness dude!

Steve's eye never ceases to amaze me and I love when we get into our brainstorm of the next monster batch! They are just so fun!

Here is what the design team came up with...

First we have "Monster of a Gift". Perfect for a little boys christmas, but just as great for a birthday or other gift giving occasion!

Card by Lisa Kind

Then we have our favorite earth friendly monster, George. Did you know "George" means of the earth. Such a friends earth loving monster from another world. If only we could all be like him. His companion stamps the recycle symbol and green is the new black sentiment are sold separately so you can get em if you want, or not. :)

Notepad & Post It Holder by Dawn Mercedes Barrett

Water Bottle Fashion Accessory by Randee Elsing

Here's Nole. Our merry little monster. Only he doesnt look so merry does he. He looks about like my husband does every year we go to decorate our christmas tree!

Card by Dawn Wheeler
Card by Tangii Crain
Well, I assume that all monsters are rough and tumble. Well, I guess that doesnt mean they have to be tough too! Here's BooBoo monster, in all his bandaid glory. His Feel Better Soon sentiment is sold separately and for only $1 so it's a great stamp to buy even if you arent a monster lover!

Last but not least is not a monster at all! It's the Twisty Tree! Now at first glance the tree looks a little spooky, but i think it is just so much for for those fall to winter cards!

Card by Tina Hale

As mentioned earlier this week, dont forget to leave a comment on each day! Each day you leave a comment you are entered to win the entire release!

On an extra note of the day... a friend of ours from the stamping community has suffered a great loss. Sarah Anderson of http://scrampinmama.blogspot.com/ lost her 3 year old son this past Monday. It was unexpected and is still unexplained. Please pray for her and her family during this difficult time. Please check out Pink Cat Studio today as they have a special digi release for Sarah and be sure to tune in tomorrow to our blog for another charity stamp for sweet little Henry.
