What a Lovely Day

Hey Ya's!  Hope you are all getting ready for a fabulous weekend!

 

Well, I've made a card for a lovely friend's Birthday using this darling Saturated Canary image called "Canary Love".  I've used gorrrrgeous Maja papers given to me by a dear sweet friend!  Then, that ever so beauuuuutiful delicate butterfly border (Joy!Crafts) at the top is from ANOTHER dear sweet friend, and that lush divine pink ribbon that I've been holding onto is yet from ANOTHER dear sweet overseas friend!  SIGH!!!  Thank you so very very much girls .. I am truly grateful!!!

Well, Bodhi's summer is coming to a quick close .. less than 2 more weeks.  :(  Crazy right?!  Hmmmm .. we all have to think of a way to slow down the minutes .. wouldn't THAT be such a great invention?!!  hehe!

Guest for Deep Ocean Challenge!

Hey Ya's!  Hope you are having a beautiful week so far!

Well I've some reallllll-ly exciting news to share with you!  I was beyond thrilled to have received an email from the AMAZING Franz for Deep Ocean Challenge!  I know you all know her .. lol!  I so love her work, and this is such an incredibly gorgeous challenge blog!  Thank you SO much for inviting me!!  :)

It's such an honour for me to be a Guest with Deep Ocean as they are all so fabulously talented!!!  The theme for this challenge is "Sparkles" .. oooh I love!  And so easy peasy right?!  We all love Sparkles!

So remember I told you about a lovely friend from England who introduced me to Frantage?  Well, this card is the very first card I've tried with the frantage she kindly mailed me .. it's for her .. and ended up lighting a bit of it on fire with my heat gun.  LOL! Luckily .. frantage is vintagey .. and it covered it up .. I think?  :)

Here's my card using Butterfly Princess from Saturated Canary and I've added Glittered Stickles to the bottom of her dress and on the ground, as well as the frantage has a lot of sparkles in it as well:

Hey Ya's!  How was your Easter weekend?  I hope you all had a beautiful weekend!

I hid eggs the night before (the PLASTIC ones filled with little chocolates), and so when Bodhi woke up .. he found the Easter Bunny's note left for him, plus a little goodie bag I made for him.  :)  Then we colored our dozen "Neon" eggs.  lol .. the package says "Neon" .. but to me it looked just regular?  Either way, Bodhi had a blast and that's what makes me happy! .. and we'll be eating boiled eggs for a few days.  haha!

Well, I have a card that I mailed overseas 3 weeks ago .. for another dear friends Birthday.  I  know she loves Saturated Canary .. so I attempted to make one for her.  :)

Hello Friends!  Hope you are all doing very well so far this week!  :)

My little Bodhi will have his Christmas Chapel Perfomance tonight .. we're so excited to see it again this year.  I remember his last year Kindergarten Christmas play .. it was extremely windy and cold that night.  But with everyone piled in the Chapel, it was so cozy and warm with all the families filled with excitement.  And as soon as I saw Bodhi walking down the aisle with the other Kindergarteners .. oh gosh .. talk about "water works".  I'm such a crybaby when it comes to that kind of stuff!  LOL!!!  It's just so beautiful you know?  :)

Anyway, I've made some time to play with my very FIRST Saturated Canary image.  :)  Yes ... I think they are DARLING!
