IMPRESSION OBSESSION CHALLENGE!

 It has always a challenge for me to photograph sparkles and shine...this card is full of just that!
The row of Black Cats has been stamped in black ink and heat embossed in clear. These cats have been adorned with silk bows for Halloween!
This stamp is wonderful for any cat lover and is pur-fect for all year round!
 To create the moon shaker I have used the, Sun Moon Stars die cut. 
Happy Halloween is die cut using black glossy paper.
Ribbon, sequins and several popped up layers complete this Happy Haunting Halloween card!

Distress Inks were used directly onto the stamp to give an ombre effect.



Simple background colored with Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol smooth paper.
The Treetop Birds were stamped in black and heat embossed with clear.

IMPRESSION OBSESSION CHALLENGE!

A little color from the IODT!



The image here is called Wintery Day. By using several fall colors the image has taken on a different season. This was colored with Distress inks and watercolor pens directly onto the rubber. Using the MISTI makes this technique possible! 
The row of green trees were stamped first. Using watercolor pens, the tree trunk and limbs were colored next. After those were dry, I painted random splotches of color were leaves would be. Taking a paintbrush, I dabbed a little water on the leaves to soften the lines. Next the image was stamped with Versamark, clear ep and heated. The sky and ground were also watercolored. The sentiment was stamped last.

IMPRESSION OBSESSION 2018 SPRING DIE HOP!

The whimiscal unicorn shaker card was created using the Rainbow Unicorn Die. 
First the Unicorn was die cut in glossy white paper.  
Next, the Unicorn die was placed in the center of a circle die and run through the Vagabond at the same time. For this cut white Starmdream paper was used. These pieces are inlayed back into the glossy Unicorn die cut. The space under the rainbow was left open for making the shaker. 
The rainbow pieces and silk ribbons were colored with Copics.
I Wish For You was stamped in Seafoam and Baby Blue ink then heat embossed with clear EP.
The BG was made using alcohol inks.

IMPRESSION OBSESSION CHALLENGE!

HAPPY THURSDAY & HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

It's a wonderful and very busy time of the year! We are squeezing in one last challenge before 2018. The theme is Anything Goes so...no excuse for not playing along! Just create using IO products for a chance at winning an Impression Obsession $25 Gift Certificate. You can see at the details on the IO Blog.

Before I forget...
We are sad to be saying goodbye to an incredibly talented DT member, Chris Dayton. Totally understand that family always comes first. We will miss you!

We welcome a new DT member, Giovana Smith!



This season I seem to be saying the same thing, fast and easy!
Made with IO's JOY FRAME DIE, this shaker card is just that!
The die was cut first in the gold Mirricard. I ran the die a second time using only the ornament and cutting it in red. To add a little interest, I added gold Rainbow Tape along the embossed lines on the ornament. Acetate was adhered to the back side of the frame.
Foam tape was then placed around the edge of the frame.


The BG is a white Stardream paper that has been embossed with a holly and berry embossing folder. A few red sequins and clear beads were added into the popped up frame. Easy shaker card!

I love working with Mirricard paper for cards except when it comes to photographing!
It's very hard to get the true colors and not show any shadows!

Fall is coming soon I hope! That means getting together for the holidays and pumpkin pie time! I'm sharing with you today an easy Thanksgiving Invitation.
The Patchwork Turkey is great for making multiples. He is fun to mix different pattern papers for die cutting. I used 5 different papers for him. I now have 5 different turkey combinations! 
 I love the mixing of the fonts that Dina Kowal did on the You're invited stamp. What a great stamp to have in your stash...perfect for all occasions! 
The embossed BG adds an extra touch of fall to the invitation.

IMPRESSION OBSESSION CHALLENGE

CHRISTMAS IN JULY!

Die cuts make for an easy and quick card, especially if making several.
I started by stamping Merry Christmas in IO's Chocolate ink onto Curious Cryogen. Once the ink was dry I used the Bead Adapt-a-Background die but, instead of cutting I embossed!
Gold mirror paper was used for the deer die cut. While this paper is beautiful in person, it's hard to photograph! I have dressed him up with some Holly and Berry Branches.
