Birthday Wishes

Happy weekend, I have had a busy one....shopping yesterday, motorcycle riding today, and tomorrow will be busy as well...church and another motorcycle ride.....all fun stuff though!  I am sharing a card I made for the SFYYT, Patties Creations; girlie challenge, and I also used the colors from Color Q.  Although they did not turn out as purple as I intended.  The MME polka dotted paper does look like rich razzleberry but after I tied the ribbon and added the flower not so much.  I have used a sweet pre printed tag and added a birthday sentiment from Verve.  I hope you have a had a great weekend and was doing something that you have fun doing..enjoy!

Stampin Sisters In Christ-Music Theme

Happy Sunday friends, I am sharing my card for this weeks Stampin Sisters In Christ.  The scripture this week is Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.  To read this weeks devotional head over to SSIC.  The challenge is for you to use music in some form; sheet music, music notes, instruments, or singing.  I have used sheet music paper, I adore sheet music paper...I cannot sing, but I luv to sing praise in church!  I have used the new stamp set from Verve called Making A Statement...this is one of my favorite sets this month!  be sure to head over to Verve and get your Anniversary sets....they are fabby!  We have had a huge rain storm the last several hours that has moved through, we so desperately need rain.  I hope your day is fully blessed, be encouraged and share a song of praise with someone in need....enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Happy Birthday To You

Hello friends....it has been a long time....I am back from CHA and have pictures to share, but they will not be for another day or two.  I caught the nastiest bug I have ever had in my whole life.....I am not one to get sick much or stay sick, but I have been down for the count since Wednesday.  I feel like I lost three days of my life...lol......I sure hope none of the gals that where at CHA get what I had.  I am feeling a little better but still not back to myself.  I was able to pull myself together long enough to make a card using the new JutsRite set; Birthday Celebration.   I got to meet the lovely Michelle Rodger at CHA and she is back and has added some new stuff to the Stampers Dream Store, this JustRite set is one of the new things she added.  I stamped the flower like image and cut it out, luv how it looks like a flower, don't you?  I colored it with copics and added my favorite glass glitter to the edges....such a sweet look.  The sentiment reads "Happy Birthday To You".  I finished my card with ric rac trim, bakers twine, and stick pins from Jenni Bowlin.  The papers are from Basicgrey collection called Marjoliane....so soft and pretty!  I used Jen's SFYTT and I played along with the gals from The EtsyInspired Challenge, I used the cute headband as my inspiration.

Believing The Best

There has been lots going on here the last couple of days, I do not want you to miss anything.  So if you are looking for my Verve stamp giveaway click here, if you would like bid on one of my cards and help the Susan G. Koman foundation click here!

I am sharing two cards today, they are both scripture cards using Verve stamps.  I am believing these scriptures today as my dh and I head back to the hospital.  Most of you know my dh had open heart surgery back in March and we have been battling a few minor things since the operation.  It has left him with no energy and feeling a little hopeless.  Well, today we go and that are going to get his heart back in rhythm, we are praying for the correct beat and for it to stay in beat....please pray that with me.  Thank you so much!
The top card is using Jen's SFYTT from a week ago and the dirty dozen challenge of trendy.  The bottom card is using the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge.  Check these challenges out and play along!  Have a super day and thank you again for your prayers!  Enjoy.

Love Notes

I created these little cards for today's FS155, Karen. Her gallery is amazing, if you have not seen her work you should check it out. I only hope I have done her beauty here justice. I am reaching for the stamp set Love's Flower from Verve every time I go to stamp, it is so sweet. These little flowers make my heart pitter patter...lol. I colored, cut them out, added pearls, and SU dazzling diamonds. They are so cute, I also used the new SU Sending Love designer paper. This is also for the Crazy 4 Challenge, C4C21; to use pink. I hope you have a wonderful evening!

Goodie Boxes

I made this for today's IC212, I chose this diaper bag here. I really don't need any other gifts but I adore these little boxes so much I wanted to give a few more to friends I haven't exchange gifts with yet. I used Jen's SFYTT for the top of this box. I used my new Waltzing Mouse Labels 4 Nesting Stamps, these are wonderful. They fit perfectly with the Nesties Labels 4. The sentiment is Verve Snow Wonderful. I added a little stitching and a button and twine.

Instructions for the boxes are here.

Winter Song Christmas

I have created this gift box full of cards and used four different sketches to complete it. The first sketch is Jen's Sketch For You To Try, SFYTT. I used the SU wide Baja Breeze ribbon and the Verve Christmas In The Air set. The second one is Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC44. I used the SU top die instead of a circle, I added polished embellies, sponging and distressing. the third sketch is for Taylor's Sketch TESC91. I used only designer paper, some stitching and a punched snowflake covered with glitter. The sentiment you can't see is "Merry Christmas". The final sketch is for The Pink Elephant Challenge, TPE41. It is the little circle card, I used the Verve set Blessed Christmas. All card stock is Prism and the designer paper is SEI Winter Song. This is a gift that I am donating to a friend, for an upcoming action. I hope you have a wonderful day and be sure to make the most of family moments, enjoy!

Chocolate Regal Kiss

Todays color challenge is chocolate chip, pink passion, and kiwi kiss; I do not have the BB they are a little to wild for me, I used regal rose instead. Go here to see the challenge and all the other SCS creations CC208. I used an old set from SU called Nature's Secrets, I luv this set. I stamped it in chocolate chip and then took my regal rose marker and went around the petals, same thing with the stem using copic color YG03. I used SU dp's, added kiwi kiss ribbon, and a few regal rose brads. They are really not regal rose, but they match perfectly; sad part is I don't know where I got them. This is also Jen's SFYTT this past Saturday. Enjoy your day! A BIG thank you to everyone who visits my blog, I am thrilled that you stop by.....I luv to inspire you!

Flyin By To Say HI

I created this card for the SNSS DT Challenge #14-Color Me Green, the colors are glorious green, green galore, and gold. I do have these colors so I used wild wasabi, certainly celery, and more mustard. I used this fabulous set from SNSS called Pond Pals , this adorable set has the cutest pond pals, a duck, froggie, turtle, and a dragonfly. I colored the cat tails and cut the smaller one out and popped it up to give depth. I colored the dragonfly and popped it up also. The sentiment is stamped and cut out with the SU curly label punch, I added the mustard brads and In The Loop ribbon. This is also Jen's SFYTT , great sketch btw. I hope you enjoy hump day and my Pond Pal creations card.
