happy friday friends, what a fun sketch we have for you to work with this week. I luv how you can make a fun little collage of elements for the main focus. I used tim holtz distress inks and created a watercolor splash background, then added embossing paste using a star stencil...luv the look! A piece of designer paper, twine, a few enamel stars, and a glittery star die cut make for a fun card! Be sure to stop by the rest of the teams blogs and see how they have used this weeks sketch!

as you see it - hello

hello friends, such a fun challenge this week, I picked all of the elements to use on my card....one word, confetti(stars), wide sentiment, rainbow of aqua and lime, stars....YAY! I created the background using a star stencil and embossing paste, I then painted over it with the gorgeous aqua and lime avery elle liquid watercolors...I am luvin these...so easy and fun! I then went to my stash star container(yes, I have a container for each element...hearts, flowers, leaves, butterflies, stars and so on)and pulled out a mix to use. hello friends and happy fri-YAY...I am luvin this weeks sketch from as you see it. I have used the paper smooches star dies...these are amazing. They are layered and even have some that are trimmed around the edges. giving you all sizes of the stars. I watercolored the background and then added some clear sequins and twine. The sentiment is from casual fridays, one of my favorites from casual fridays....it is called truth is clear. i hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge it is a make it sparkle challenge this week....I luv me sum sparkle and shine! We are spotlighting products from hero arts, wow...what is not to luv about their products? Don't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

I have used one of the super cute stamp and die sets from hero arts, I just luv how they are paired with adorable sentiments and a die; you can see some of them here. I have cut the merry using glitter paper and then randomly stamped the sweet stars using simon says stamp high dive ink. I added some hero art clear gemstones, some stickles to the stars, and some nuvo crystal drops. i cannot wait to see what you create this week! merry, merry christmas to you and yours!

mojo monday/mojo443-life....be amazing!

good morning it is time for another amazing mojo monday sketch....the mojo sketches are dabomb! I luv working with them and I hope you do too. This week I used the sweet verve cut above starry dies....these are adorable! I cut them out with watercolor paper and added tim holtz distress ink to them, I adore the look of watercolor paper...it is all about the texture for me....*grin*. The life and "be amazing" sentiments are stickers, I really like using stickers too; makes it quick and easy to create a card.

Fun, fun, fun...luv this sketch and the gorgeous inspiration photo! I adore the mint and gold together and created a card using the Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit....luv this kit! It has rub ons, a stamp set, washi tape, and gold star brads...so sweet! I have used the sketch from MFT Card Challenge, luv this sketch...I have used it twice already! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine!

I had such fun with this weeks challenge, I luv using stars, almost as much as I luv using hearts...teeehehehe. I wanted to stay true to the "Seeing Stars" challenge and use them as much as possible. I have used the paper from Studio Calico's Brighten Pier 6x6 pad. I also used the sweet tiny wooden stars from Studio Calico. I spritz them with Black Soot Distress Tim Holtz stain....luv how they turned out. A super simple card to create but, it has lots of impact....follow your dreams and......sparkle & shine!
