Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge is all about thanks/thanksgiving..I know I have so much to be thankful for. The design team is spotlighting products from tim holtz. Don't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

I have used the gorgeous cone flower from the tim holtz flower set and watercolored it with prima confection pans....I have used silver twine underneath for a little added pizzazz. I added enamel dots and some glossy accents dots around. The sketch is from retro sketches and colors from the global design. All the goodies used in my card are linked below.

 I was determined to play with the inspiration photo from just add ink...I have started, completed, and given up on at least three cards already...lol. This was one of the hardest inspirations I have ever done. I finally just knew I was gonna use red and white and well, this is the outcome....not completely happy but I am gonna with it. I even used purple...lol..I was getting very desperate. I have used an amazing concord & 9th set called love you mean it...so many possibilities. A watercolored background using prima marketing confection pans and th distress inks for flowers and leaves. This was one of those times were I wanted to give up, but something inside of me would not let it rest...*grin*

I had a blast with this card tonight, such a fun color combo and I luv the sentiment. Had to add the little ink stitched heart...sweet. A watercolored background is sooo romantic..I luv the look! I hope you have a great week, I am off after working twenty days in a row without one off...so to say the least..I am over the top excited! Have a shopping trip planned with the hubs and some projects around the house and of course morning coffee on the deck...now that is living!

sharing a card created for freshly made sketches and the global design colors. I have used the awesome concord & 9th flower set called brushed blossom.  I have used tim holtz water color inks on prima watercoloring paper, luv this textured paper. A few ink splatters using heidi swapps color shines...darlin. And, of course I had to use a little b&w stripped twine, I do luv me some b&w.....hope you have a fabulous weekend.

A fun card to make playing along with a couple of challenges. I have used the lil' inker stitched butterfly dies...the lil' inker stitched dies are some of my favorite for sure! I used a simon says stamp polka dotted stencil and stenciled the cute polka dots on the butterfly. I watercolor, spritzed, and paste embossed the background for a great combo...luv the look!

had to play along with a couple of amazing challenges, the global design and can you case it. It is a good long weekend and I have set aside time to create! I have used the adorable sentiment set from right at home called, simple sentiments. Some polka dotted embossing paste behind the main foal point, watercolored piece of paper, and the layered corrugated circle, star, and twine make up my card.

oh WOW, did I have fun with this card.....YES! I am luvin the sweet inspiration photo from the challenge...the gold accents made my heart skip a beat...*grin*. I added gold watercolor stripping using the gold paints from finetec mica....luv these, they are super easy to use! I have used the amazing flower set from simon says stamp with wplus9...luv how easy it is to get a watercoloring look with these stamps. Lots of gold, black, and pinks...a sweet combo! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

hello friends, I am luvin b&w stripes lately....the stripes used here is washi tape by scotch.....I picked it up at target....my favorite store...it is gawgeous! I have played along with a couple of challenges, listed below. The watercolor splotch is a mix of tim holtz distress inks, tumbled glass and shabby shutters. I have used a sweet sentiment set from neat & tangled called hello there...check out there fun stamps! I have used several black gemstones, super fun card to create. Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine, kindness!
