Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge, we are layering it up this week. The design team is using products from the awesome concord & 9th. You do not have to use concord & 9th, but if you have them we would luv to see them! Don't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

I have used a mix of patterns and colors to create my layered card. I used the a designer paper with tiny heart and then layered the tag that has been stamped with the plaid background stamp. I then stamped my flowers and leaves and layered them over top the tag and added the sentiment. I added enamel dots and twine. The mix of colors and patterns are growing on me, this is not my usual style. I hope it inspires you to create something you would not normally do. I cannot wait to see what you share.

had such fun playing with this HOPE stamp set from concord and 9th...makes the sweetest watercolor looking flowers. I used altenew dye ink rather than distressed ink since I wanted a crisp image over top of the watercolor splash background. hope you have a wonderful day friends, the weekend is near...eeepp.

crazy 4 challenges sept. guest - happy birthday

It has ben a blast guesting for crazy 4 challenges! I hope you find time to fit in their fun challenges in the weeks to come. I was so drawn to the beautiful cake image for this weeks challenge, don't ya think it is divine? I have paired it with the gorgeous concord & 9 the stamp, it is also divine! It is called happy day bundle. I have used gold watercolor paints and some sweet soft sky embellishments, a stapled on sentiment completes me card! Thanks ladies for having me this month!

Playing with my new concord & 9th stamp set called, hope....what an amazing set..the flowers are stunning! I used a little embossing paste for the card base and then watercolored the background. I am luvin this shade of pink card stock, it is from simon says stamp and it is called doll pink. The flowers are stamped with altenew inks...luv these inks and there are twelve new colors that just debuted! hope you have a wonderful weekend!

sunday stamps-thank you

good morning friends, it is time for another sunday stamps challenge and this week we have a sketch for you..it is a taller sketch. I have created a 4bar sized card, cut a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock to 3 1/2 x 9 3/4 and then score on the long side at 4 7/8...I like the way this size stands for a darlin flip up card. I have played along with the tic, tac toe challenge too. I have used the top row, my accent is the sweet flip flops die cut from a lil inker die. The blue watercolored background and that is my coloring. The thank you sentiment is from concord & 9th, a great size. I can't wait to see what you create!

I had to play with this weeks just add ink challenge, I adore the copper pitcher full of flowers....it remind s me of years ago when copper things were really popular. I remember my mom having some of the copper mugs and platters. I have used the gorgeous flower set from concord & 9th called hello lovely. I heat embossed the flower using simon says stamp white embossing powder and then sponged over it all with copper ink from tsukineko celestial copper. The sentiment is simon says stamp handwritten boarders. A few clear simon sequins to finish it off. I have used the sketch from crazy 4 sketches and tilted it a bit...*grin*

mojo monday 498/hello

A quick card for this weeks mojo monday sketch, I will be glad to get a couple of days off to create more....hope to be off this weekend. I have used concord and 9th stamps and sentiment. A watercolored background with a couple of strips of designer paper, the stamped flowers, a few sequins, and some stickles. Be sure to check out the mojo makers creations this week too!

A sweet little 4bar one layer card for a couple of challenges listed below. If you are interested in how to achieve a 4bar sized card here are the measurements. Cut a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock to 3 1/2 x 9 3/4 and then score on the long side at 4 7/8...I like the way this size stands for a darlin flip up card. A watercolored splash background, a big ole' thank you sentiment and several sweet pink flowers equal fun! The sentiment and flowers are from a fabulous and popular concord and 9th set called thank you. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, I am working all weekend...sigh...counting the days(weeks) until vaca!

Another sweet 4 bar sized card, these are fun to make especially if you are using smaller die cute, and embellishments. To achieve the size I cut a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock to 3 1/2 x 9 3/4 and then score on the long side at 4 7/8....I like the taller sized cards...so, so cute!  purchased 4bar envelopes from the paper source, you can see them here. The sentiment is from concord and 9th, it is called happy words. I embossed the white piece of card stock, but it is hard to see, it was made to represent the white baby's breath in the inspiration photo. Hope you have a wonderful week!

hello and welcome, it is time for another mojo monday sketch..this sketch is a favorite for sure! Of course I put my twist on the sketch! I have used concord & 9th stamps and dies...luv the outcome! I have watercolored the background and the added the love die cut that has been inked using my new altenew inks and let's just say I am in luv...they are quite amazing! A sweet little tag and a few sequins bring the sketch all together. Have a super duper monday....instead of working for it, make it work for YOU!
