A Warm Hello

Good morning and Happy July 4, I hope you have lots of fun planned for this great American holiday!  But now, it is time for a cupcake...hehehe...CIC66.  I think these cupcakes are so stylish, head over to the CIC Blog and see the other sweeties creation and to play along.  I started by using the sketch from CAS-tastic, CWC010 this is my first time playing along with these gals, fun sketch!  I was drawn to the pink, red, and of curse green.  I used the stamp set from Ippity called Now & Forever, I luv these stamped on dp(designer paper) and cut out.  I used some random designer paper for the card and added PTI ribbon.  A button bow to finish off the center and my card is complete.  This also fits The Play Date Cafe Challenge, PDCC36.  Now I have to tell you that is was not that easy, for some reason I could not pull this simple card together last night.  I do hope you like my cupcake creation and most of all I hope you play along with us.  I do my best to get around and show some luv.  Have a wonderful day....enjoy!

Anything Is Possible

Good evening, I have created this for the Clean & Simple Sketch, FTL78 and for Round 2 of the CAS DT call.
It is also for the Frosted Design Challenge to use a star. We where to make a creation based on the Olympic slopes (skiing or luge). I was inspired by of course the color of the USA flag, hills, and the fact that all of the competitors do the things they do make them a star....and "anything is possible" when watching the games!
I used the Verve set Seeing Stars and the EK Success large scalloped border punch. I added silver cord to the star, one I added stickles, and the other a lone gemstone. I hope you have a great day! Enjoy.

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy

I created this for today's LSC256, to make our creation a palindrome. The sentiment is suppose to be able to be read forward or backward, the dp had to be the same if a line is drawn down the center, and any panels or nesties had to be the same on both sides. Here is the pronunciation and definition of palindrome.
palindrome
noun
/ˈpæl.ɪn.drəʊm/
US pronunciation symbol/-droÊŠm/
n [C]
a word or group of words that is the same whether you read it forwards from the beginning or backwards from the end

I also made this for The Pink Elephant Challenge #50, it is a sketch this week. These are the colors for The Play Date Cafe Challenge, PDCC13. I used the Papertrey Ink Blooming Button Bits stamp set, I added fibers and a little stitching. The polka dots are a stamp from the Verve set Bountiful Backgrounds, I luv this set! I added a SU tag, I wanted to use some of the things I have but do not use much, who else can relate to that? Let me know something that you have that you don't use but
are inspired to get it out and create something with it. I can't wait to hear from you! Enjoy.

I want to thank Cbetnk, she is from Russia. She gave me an award. I am so amazed that I cannot speak or write any of her language, but she was able to get someone to help her write a post on my blog. She is thanking me for visiting and gave me an award. She told me that in Russia it is a blogger tradition to give an award, I am so pleased and honored to post this. It really does make a persons day when you leave kind words.....show some luv to others and leave a comment!
