skipping stones november tip/technique hop

good morning and welcome to the weekend, I cannot get over how fast the days pass, we are twelve days from Thanksgiving, in case you needed a reminder. I am doing my grocery shopping for Thanksgiving today super, super early. The skipping stones designs team is sharing the monthly tip/technique hop with you, be sure to stop by all the blogs and comment you could win a free stamp set. I am sharing a super simple tip today, I put all of my pretty pink posh sequins in a cute little jar just so I could see the pretties! They sit on my desk for me to see...luv! The other AMAZING thing I want to share is the INCREDIBLE precision tip that fits on the small glossy accents bottle, for a never clogging and fine tip...I luv this applicator! You can get yours here, I take the tip off of the bottle and screw it onto the glossy accents and it works perfectly! I do not use the empty bottle as of yet. I have used the sweet set called Christmas Swirls. I used two different watercolor inks to create the fun star and then I covered it with stickles.  I hope you enjoy your weekend and the hop! Now onto my tip, I am sharing my beloved vintage mailbox....eeeccccckkkk...isn't it gorgeous? It is a solid wooden old mailbox with a metal numbered tag. My dh and I purchased it while pickin one day.  I store my cards that I have on hand in it along with some bags and envies.

I have taken some of my favorite designer papers and made my own cutzie file dividers. I then hand wrote on a pink paislee ticket the type of card that I would be storing behind each divider. I stapled it to the designer paper divider for a little extra awesome sauce!

I Design For Sunday Stamps

Yep, it is true....eeeeccckkkk; I am sooo excited to be able to share this great news! I am now apart of the Sunday Stamps team, have you played along? If not join us for a biweekly challenge of all sorts of great fun! Look at the adorable challenge photo this week, it melted my heart....hence the use of a gorgeous glittery heart! I had such fun with this card, I luv using ink splatter and watercoloring...it creates gorgeous backgrounds! I layered the fun ink blotches over top a polka dotted piece of card stock. Of course I had to add some gems...sweeet! The sentiment is from Skipping Stones Design, it is from the set Healing Wings. What fun, I hope you will join us for the challenge! I did a little watercoloring on the background and the three tiny hearts are heavy paste embossed for a little texture...luv!
