good morning peeps, what a fun sketch we have this week to work with over at the mojo monday blog...I adore the banners and of corse I gave them a little titl....teehehehe. I am sooo luvin using tim holtz distress inks for watercolor backgrounds, I smooshed some ink around for the background and then used my misit to get a dark even coverage of the scripture sentiment. The Verve stamp set I used is good work, one of my favorite sets! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

I have used a one of the new Verve sets, check out the latest release here! I used a couple of the different flower dies from Verve to create the sweet layered flowers. I watercolored the banner with the smashing technique, luv how this looks! I then used my new etched misti to stamp the scripture several times to get a good coverage. The addition of gold really makes it pop against the black, very bold; but a pretty color combo! Add a little glimmer to your life.....sparkle & shine!

mojo monday/mojo422- trust in you

It is the first Monday of the month and that means it is contest week at Mojo Monday. Julee has created another super fun and layered sketch. I have used a piece of watercolor paper with different Tim Holtz distress inks and then covered the edges with  embossing paste using my new prima crackled stencil...that I purchased while shopping with my good friend Wanda! We have a new Hobby Lobby close by and her and I could not be happier....teeehehehehe. I have used the new stamp set from Verve called, Good Works.  Be sure to check out the other mojo makers creations, they are amazing! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine!

Mojo Monday/MOJO330-Come To Me

Good morning, we have some exciting news to share over at the Mojo Monday Blog, instead of circle or square week the last Monday of the month, we are creating Tall & skinny...woohoo...who doesn't want to be tall & skinny?...teehehehe. I use 12 x 12 card stock to get an extra 1/2" of skinny, I then use a regular business sized envelope for mailing. I have used the scripture stamp from Verve from the set Scripture Melody 1. I used gemstones, enamel dots, and stick pins to embellish my card. We cannot wait to see what you do with the tall & skinny challenge...sparkle & shine!

Good morning peeps, hope you are full of the Christmas spirit...we have already started the fun with family and friends! I am off until January 6, so I am ready to get some creating done.
