Life Is GOOD

Hi friends, the weekend once again is just about over, I do hope your was relaxing and lots of fun!  I have created a card to play along with several challenges.  I have been wanting to use the sweet kraft wrappers that come on the crinkled ribbon I purchase from a lovely lady on Etsy.  The background of this card is using those wrappers, I sponged around the edges to give it a more vintage feel.....luv the look!   You can get your crinkled ribbon here.  I used the sentiment stamp from the Verve set Hope Blooms.  The rest of my card is super simple, just a fun one for me.  Be sure to check back in the morning for this weeks Mojo Monday sketch.  Dream a little dream....enjoy!

Masculine Card-Praying For You

I played along with several challenges to create today's masculine card.  I really should keep more manly cards on hand, they are like sympathy cards; it seems I never have enough if my stash.  I like to use stars for manly cards like I use flowers on all other cards.  I used My Favorite Things sketch for this one, using the star border die at the bottom.  The sentiment is from the new Verve set Faithful Phrases.  I used black burlap sting and tied it with a chunky brown button, distressing, and a little stitching complete my card.

It is back to work tomorrow, it is a short week for me and a super long weekend ahead.  I get Friday and Monday for Easter.....I am looking very forward to it!  I have had to work the last three weeks without a week off...lol.  I am hoping for another week off come the first of May.  Hope your evening is great...enjoy!

I am sharing with you another Stamper's Dream card, if you have not had a chance to check out the Just Rite stamps that coordinate with Spellbinders Nesties, you have to check them out!  I adore these beautiful scroll and flourishe stamps...they are just awesome!  I used the Kindness Cling for this card, but there are lots of others, be sure to look at them all!  The sentiment is from another set called Sympathy Nested Sentiments. The lace and bling flourish is by Prima, I used crinkled ribbon and a button for a bow.  The popular burlap string is peeking out from behind the bow...I luv this stuff, it is great for lots of things.  Have a fun filled night....enjoy!
