Viva la Verve-You & Me Always

Happy Friday, it is my turn to bring to you this weeks Viva la Verve sketch, you can get all the details and play along here....don't let the skewed panel scare you away...lol.  I made a Valentine card for dh, I wanted to use more manly looking colors and I added a gold star to play along with today's Free 4 All, F4A51; keeping with the royalty theme.  I stamped the "You & me Always sentiment using the Verve set Love Notes, I adore this little sentiment.  I added the glittered star and heart to the outside of my mini envie, isn't it soooo cute?  Tucked away inside the envie is xoxo stamped on a piece of card stock.  I hope you will play along with us, if you play along with every sketch you have the chance of winning our entire next release....woohoo...enjoy!

Girly Friends

Happy Friday gals, I received a nice surprise from my boss yesterday after getting home...he wanted to know if I wanted today off...aahhh that would be "YES".  I am home today preparing for a craft sale that a few of my friends and I are having.  We are making room for new stuff and decided to have a sale.  I wish you lived close by..*grin*.  For today's card I used Mercy's sketch from last week, MTSC91, 411 Color Challenge, to use black and pink, and today's F4A31, to use scallops.  I ran the circle through the polka dotted embossing folder and then added stickles to the polka dots to give some glitter.  I added pom pom ribbon down the side, some sponging, and framed it all with scalloped rectangles.  I hope your day is great and your weekend is even better, thanks for stpping by and leaving such sweet comments!  Enjoy.

Hope

Good morning, I used today's Free 4 All, F4A25, to make a thinking of you/get well.  I am always in need of these types of cards, I send cards all the time.  I can't keep many in my stash because I send them as I make them, that is the true joy of creating!  I also used the sketch from last weeks CCEE1031. I have had it saved it hopes of using it, luv this long and skinny sketch.  I also played along with Sharon and the Stamp Simply DT; ssnotime152 to use ribbon scraps.  By scrunching the ribbon this way you can use of pieces of scraps, luv that!  I also used scrap pieces of designer paper for this one, everything is scraps but the card base.  Tomorrow is the long awaited Verve sneak peek day...yippie....you will be amazed by the Verve divas creations.  Be sure to check the Verve Blog in the morning 7:00 am EST to get all the details!  Have a wonderful Friday and make the most of the weekend; it's the best part of the week!  Enjoy.

My card today is using the OCCSC27 sketch and The Color Throwdown, CTD104.  These colors remind me some of fall, especially using the flower from the Verve set Let It Shine.  It reminds me of a cute little sunflower.  This is also for today's Free 4 All, F4A24, to use garden pickin.  The ric rac is cork I ran it through the PTI ric rac die, added ribbon to flower for leaves and the birthday sentiment tag.  Pretty simple and straight forward.  I hope you will check out my Etsy shop Paperie Bloom.  Have a great weekend!  Enjoy.
