Hi friends, I am sharing a new release Plain Jane from Verve. I luv this sweet sentiment, I know must of us has thought this so many times in life. I have cased today's' Featured Stamper over at SCS, you can join the fun here. You can pick up the Plain Jane and lots of great stamps that are on sale over at the Verve Store. I am also sharing pictures from my Copic Class that I attended with my good friend Wanda. Masculine Card-Praying For You
I played along with several challenges to create today's masculine card. I really should keep more manly cards on hand, they are like sympathy cards; it seems I never have enough if my stash. I like to use stars for manly cards like I use flowers on all other cards. I used My Favorite Things sketch for this one, using the star border die at the bottom. The sentiment is from the new Verve set Faithful Phrases. I used black burlap sting and tied it with a chunky brown button, distressing, and a little stitching complete my card.
It is back to work tomorrow, it is a short week for me and a super long weekend ahead. I get Friday and Monday for Easter.....I am looking very forward to it! I have had to work the last three weeks without a week off...lol. I am hoping for another week off come the first of May. Hope your evening is great...enjoy!

Square CAS- hi
Hi friends, I hope you have had a great weekend, mine has been fast but good! I wanted to play along with a couple of CAS challenges, the CAS106 from Monday is a sketch. Today's FS211, Cookie has a CAS style; I chose her card here to case. I used Saturday's IC272 as my inspiration, the site is wall art. My piece of designer paper is similar to the art on the walls as it makes the room and the gorgeous print makes the card. I also played along with the Etsy Inspired Challenge, using this sweet clay pot as inspiration, the ribbed top is like my letters and similar colors. There is no stamping on my square card, I used cardboard letters from JillyBean Soup. I did stamped on them and also added glass glitter the the letters and the edges of my card. A super simple CAS card for me today. This is also fits this months Dirty Dozen theme, "Days of Our Lives" I hope you will play along with us! If you cannot see the gallery consider joining SCS as a Fan Club Member. I hope you have a fantastic evening, be sure to check back in the morning for my Mojo Monday Sketch card....enjoy!

Color Q Again-Luv This Color Combo!
Hi peeps, I wanted to share a quick card with you before the end of the day. I wanted to play along with today's FS204, sweet Marisa. I chose her card here to case. Changing the papers, stamps, and adding lace. I need a sympathy card for a dear friend who lost her husband. I really try to keep the individual in mind when making sympathy cards when I know who they are for. I used the film strip from Tm Holtz, I was thinking this represents the many memories they had together. I added the bird for peace and I had to add a red heart for love. I also used the Color Q, CQC65; colors again.....this is a gorgeous combo. This is a big release week for Verve, it is Friday. We will start peeking on Tuesday, but if you check back tomorrow for my Mojo Monday creation, you might see a tiny little peek. This is going to be an exciting week, even though I do go back to work on Tuesday after my loooooong break. I am looking forward to next years break already. Wishing you much happiness and peace in 2011....enjoy!

Happy Birthday
Good afternoon, I hope that you are having some family fun time this weekend. We had a cookout, nothing like hamburgers on the grill...yummy! I have a couple of CAS cards to share, the one on the right is my CASE(copy and share everything) I have added something to go with CASE; BAGR (but always give recognition) to today's FS173, Emily's card. I chose her card here, I so luvd all that background paper.....sweet. It is what inspired the card on the left using the Clean & Simple Sketch, FTL92. You can check out more of Emily's creations on her blog, Stamping Scoops. I kept the fun glitter on the flowers, added a little distressing, and made mine square cards. I used my newest favorite stamp from Ippity set Now & Always. I so adore the flowers in this set, you can layer them, change up with patterned paper and paper piece them; so many ideas not enough time. These are also my submissions to the CAS DT call to use height, I added 3D foam squares. I also wanted to share that my card here(bottom card), is featured over at the Ippity Blog using this same little set. It is in my ETSY shop if you are interested*grin*.....I also wanted to share I had a couple of my tags featured over at the Unscripted Sketch Blog, I hope you can make time to play along with all of these great challenges. The challenge blogs help me get all the card created that I need. Have a wonderful evening, I will be back in the morning with this weeks mojo sketch and card. Enjoy!
