FYI Challenge-Thank You

I have created a card for the FYI Challenge, I was inspired by the blue waters and went with blue greens in my card.  Do check out the FYI challenge, Stephanie brings some amazing photos to inspire you and the FYI gals are always bringing fabulous creations!  I used this fun sketch from Paper Players, I do not know how this challenge has slid under my radar...lol.  It is always fun to try new challenges, it keeps me inspired and amazed by the outstanding talent in the paper crafting world.  I used basicgrey designer paper and the thank you sentiment is from Verve's Thankful Blossoms set.  This set has, flowers, butterflies, and sentiments...a must have! Birthday Tag

Hello friends, my blog is starting to take shape...I adore the new banner.  I purchased it from the super sweet and talented Viola, you can visit her shop here.  I have made a tag today playing along with some challenges.  I was inspired by the tall lighthouse over at FYI...be sure to check out the gals over at FYI, Steph is bringing to us an inspiration photo every week, it is a great way to get out of your comfort zone.  I used Waltzingmouse stamps and My Mind's Eye designer paper.  I used Tim Holtz inks to cover the tag and then added the extras.  I hope your day is great...I was inspired today by this verse.....Philippians 4:11(NKJV) Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.....being content with our circumstances, no matter what they are is a reflection of inner peace.  Make the most of the weekend....enjoy!

Viva la Verve-My Glory

I have created a card tonight to play along with a few challenges, I have had a tuff week so I didn't get Amy a sample before Friday for the Viva la Verve sketch...I luv this sketch and had to play along!  I also wanted to play along with the gals over at FYI.  I have not had a chance to play along since the opening of the challenge....be sure to head over at check them out too!  This church is gorgeous, I use a serene scripture card to meet the challenge.  The scripture is from Verve, it is a Plain Jane Psalm 3:3.  I used the gorgeous 5th Avenue designer papers from Melissa Frances, check out the MF line at Stampers Dream...the lace is amazing too!  I also used the MFT rolled flower die to make my tiny flower, I need one of those rolling tools....this was not easy without it...lol.  I made my flower a little messy and scrunched, I can't help myself I like the shabby look.....hehehehe.  Tomorrow the new dirties will be announced at 12:00 PM EST, you won't want to miss the reveal; these two ladies are amazing!  May your evening be great ......enjoy!

Hi peeps, I am sharing my creation for this weeks FYI Challenge, a new challenge blog...be sure to head over and check it out!  I have had the honor of being there first guest designer, these ladies are awesome...thank you so much!  The photo seems peaceful to me, I can image just sitting and watching the sun set.....I luv doing that!  I used the chair image from Impressions Obsessions called Heart Chair.  The gorgeous paper is from Graphic 45 and it is called Once Upon A Springtime, I distressed the edges.  I added lace trim and ruffled ribbon.  The sentiment tag is a kraft mini tag from Maya Road, it is tied with burlap string.....these are soooo cute..I luv em!  I hope your day is filled with peace and you make time to relax and perhaps watch the sunset...enjoy!

FYI-A New Inspiration Challenge Blog

Good morning, I am soooo excited to be sharing with you today the introduction to a new challenge blog, For Your Inspiration.  I am thrilled to tell you that I am the first guest designer with the team.  Steph wants to bring a new inspiration photo to you every other week, the photos have the wow factor and are to get you to think outside the box.  My first thought when I saw the photo was "wow, what a fancy city"...I wanted my card make you think style.  I used a chipboard dress form from Maya Road, I sponged it and then covered it with Glossy Accents to give it a shine, one single pearl finishes it.  The flower is a Prima and it is sets in the center of the stamped flourish circle by JustRite, the set is called You Inspire Me.  I added the Maya Road ruffled ribbon and the tag sentiment to complete my card.  Be sure to head over to the FYI Blog and see the new team, these ladies are awesome!  I hope you will play along and give your creation the "wow" factor....enjoy!
