Hi friends, I have had a busy week along with also been dealing with allergies like never before. I have gotten meds so I hope to be back to normal very soon...yeah! I have missed stamping this past week, was looking forward to it this weekend. Keep checking back I plan on having lots to share. I wanted to use the amazing sketch from Cardabilites and the sweet Inspiration photo from Moxie Fab, a perfect combo! I was inpsired by the peach flower and the teeth on the comb, I used banners to replicate. Hope your weekend is gorgeous, it was a breathtaking day in my area today...wow! Happy Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day to all my American friends! 

It is a favorite time of year and month, the house is all decorated in Americana, totally luv it! I am keeping it short today, wanted to play along with a couple of challenges. I want to share this month's Cards For A Cause with you, we are spotlighting  The Sunshine Mail Foundation, you can read all about it here. There is an optional challenge each month too, this month the challenge is to use a sunshine, outdoor scene, or a sunshine sentiment. I used the Verve sentiment from the set Doodled Occasion....one of my favorite sets! It is on sale along with lots of other great Verve sets, see them all here! I played along with Moxie Fab, I was drawn to the bold colors, used the sketch from Fetch A Sketch. Good morning and welcome to the weekend  I am sharing my take on Janelle's Viva la Verve sketch, it was fun! I also wanted to play along with Moxie Fab's Mixy-Matchy Challenge. I went with a polka dotted theme and I liv the way this turned out. Some of my favorite colors, teal blue, black ,and of corse greens.....I likey! I have a CAS card to share using one of my favorite color combos...totally luv!  I also wanted to play along with a new challenge, called Chic Challenges; they are a SU challenge, but you don't have to use SU.  You know I luv a good challenge, especially a sketch; there my favorite!  And, I played along with Moxie Fab, the sweet inspiration photo sooooo cute.  I have used a gorgeous Maya Road flower, I have been hoarding these...lol..I only have two left.  The sentiment is from the Verve set, Purely Sentimental and it is on sale!  A sweet sentiment set to have on hand, pick yours up today.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend...enjoy!

This is my final post as part of the Winter SCS CAS Team, it has been a quick journey.  I want to go out with a little bang, making my card bold and vibrant....*grin* I have used washi tape, totally luv using tape, it is so cool.  This weeks challenge is to use only line stamps, the sweet hearts I used are from the Verve stamps set Borderline and the "enjoy" sentiment is from the set Surely Goodness.  My card is also a one layer card, not sure if I have ever done that before...lol.  A whole lot of color and fun, I am so ready for spring, never mind the fact we got several inches of snow today...lol.  I hope you have a great evening...enjoy!

I have played along with a few challenges, I am luvin using hearts!  I think hearts are always in fashion, don't you?  I criss cross stamped the lines on the heart using the Waltzingmouse Stamp set Heirloom Patterns, I adore all of the gorgeous background stamps Claire offers at Waltzingmouse!  I am keeping it short, as I have lots of things to accomplish this evening!  Have a super fun evening...enjoy!

Praying For You

Hello and happy day!  It was a wonderful Christmas here at our home, we are so thankful for so much and sharing the blessings is what Christmas is all about!  I hope your home was filled with lots of thankfulness and love too!  I am playing along with a few challenges; I adore the photo from Moxie Fab, such a sweet serene space. I have used the My Mind's Eye paper pack Nutmeg.  I made a book page flower, added a button, with a few pearls to the center.  A great sketch from Sketchbook Saturday and like always a great challenge from the glas at Word Art Wednesday.  The ladies from Word Art always inspire me, thank you very much!  Oh, I can't forget to let you in on the amazing Verve sale....wow...Julee has really brought you some great savings...check it out here!

Holiday Joy

I am sooo excited about my CAS card today...{grinning from ear to ear}...CAS is hard for me, even though I luv it!  I discovered a new CAS sketch challenge called CAS(E) This Sketch, how cool is that?  I am so addicted to challenges...lol.  I am luvin washi tape and knew I wanted to use it on my card today.  Washi tape is awesome, it is like small strip of designer paper and you know how much I luv dp...*grin*.  Here is what I did to achieve the look I wanted,  I laid the two different types of washi tape on a piece of white card stock and then punched the circles out with my circle punch, so cute and I adore the look.  I did the same thing with the star, but used a different coordinating washi tape.  I added some bakers twine, scalloped the border of the black card stock and stamped the sentiment  so easy.  I hope you have a fabulous evening...enjoy!

Poppy Inspiration

Hi, I am sharing this card for the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger, the poppy inspiration photo.  I was inspired by the colors and the poppy flower.  I do not have any poppy stamps, so I stamped the image in red and sponged the center black like a real poppy.  I also used the Clean & Simple sketch, this is very simple for me.  The gorgeous designer paper is from SU, speaking of SU; I am headed to my demos house in the morning to check out some of the new goodies in the new SU cattie....woohoo.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend...enjoy!

Hello again, I am sharing my CAS card I made using the Sketchbook Saturday sketch, Friday MashUP challenge,  and I played along with the Moxie Fab damask challenge.  I cannot believe I used purple...I am not a fan of purple but that is what I reached for this afternoon, don't ask?  Even though I am not a fan of purple, I added a little black and all is good now...lol.  Everything goes better with black, don't ya think?  Be sure to check out the fun challenges and play along; these I have played along with today are some of my all time favorites....enjoy!

Mojo Monday 241 -You Can Do It!

Good morning, it is time for another sketch from Mojo Monday, don't ya just luv Mondays?  I know us gals at Mojo Monday do, we hope you play along with us!  I have designed this weeks sketch and I must say I luv it!  I had just a fabulous time playing along with the Moxie Fab challenge, to use lace or doilies.  I choose to cover a piece of cardboard with a piece of vintage lace I picked up while the dh and I where thrift shopping.  I also use the amazing colors from CR84FN, greens and shades of blue/green; my favorite colors...swooooon!  I hope you have a super duper day....enjoy!
