Well my friends, it is with great sadness that I share this will be the last mojo monday sketch for the mojo monday team. You can read Julee heartfelt farewell here on the mojo monday blog. I have been creating mojo cards since way back when, before there was a team...I have not missed one week of creating since the mojo monday blog started january of 2009. I am super sad to see this come to an end.... but I am so grateful to julee and her inspiration week after week....she is amazing! THANK YOU JULEE! I have been using julee's sketches since I started stamping in 2008, you can see my very first card created with mojo 26 here. be kind, I was extremely green. I luv how I titled it even then.."my first mojo" it really was true love! You can see all of my mojo cards created since there was a team in my scs mojo album link. I created an album just for them way back when!

I cute square sketch this week to work with, but I have made mine a 4bar sized card...I am on that kick now! Here are the instructions for a 4bar sized card....Cut a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock to 3 1/2 x 9 3/4 and then score on the long side at 4 7/8...I like the way this size stands for a darlin flip up card. This stamp set is from the jun simon says stamp card kit called floral bliss. I sponged the flowers with tim holtz ink and then added stickles and a few clear droplets. The papers are from the june simon says stamp card kit too....echo park wedding bliss.

A quick card for this weeks mojo monday sketch, I will be glad to get a couple of days off to create more....hope to be off this weekend. I have used concord and 9th stamps and sentiment. A watercolored background with a couple of strips of designer paper, the stamped flowers, a few sequins, and some stickles. Be sure to check out the mojo makers creations this week too!

good morning friends, it is time for this weeks mojo monday sketch and I am sharing a little sneak peek....shhhhh, of a new verve stamp and die set that is releasing this tuesday, may 9. I simply adore this cute set and I know you will too. I have made a fun little watercolor splash background and then stamped the sentiment using my misti to get a super black coverage. The butterfly is stamped and then I covered her with stickles for a little shimmer. Some twine, and clear droplets complete my card. I had to pull together a quick card for this week, been working a lot. All of the elements to this card were in my little scrap box, luv using them up! I picked a color combo and went with pulling things out of the little box. I added some twine, enamel dots, and a few hand drawn circle to the hello die cut....a lot of fun with not a lot of work! hello and welcome, the mojo monday sketch challenge has a sweet little sketch for you to try. I have put the circle on the other side but still added the layers in my own little way *grin*. I have used a glittery die cut bloom that was in my stash and then added a heart shaped die cut that I added a bit of watercolor smashing to. I die cut the felt bloom using a verve stamp cut above die and the leaves are from the die loopy blooms. The awesome sentiment is the verve set kindness matters.

Another sweet 4 bar sized card, these are fun to make especially if you are using smaller die cute, and embellishments. To achieve the size I cut a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock to 3 1/2 x 9 3/4 and then score on the long side at 4 7/8....I like the taller sized cards...so, so cute!  purchased 4bar envelopes from the paper source, you can see them here. The sentiment is from concord and 9th, it is called happy words. I embossed the white piece of card stock, but it is hard to see, it was made to represent the white baby's breath in the inspiration photo. Hope you have a wonderful week!

happy monday, it is a four day weekend for me coming up so it is happy week for me! I hope you have a great easter weekend planned, it is one of my favorite weekends of the year. It is a great time of year to start anew; Jesus lives and offers forgiveness..that is the best! The weather is getting warmer, diy projects are starting to take shape, and I am thinking blooms, blooms, and more blooms! My card today uses a hero arts kit from awhile back, I watercolored the background, stamped the thank you sentiment and then added the little extra sentiment to represent a bloom. I am playing along with stamping royalty and the gorgoeus photo inspiration was the inspiration for my card. I was inspired mainly by the top photo, lots going on, nuetral colors with a pop of aqua green. I knew I wanted to create a mixed media card with lots of fun layers; watercolor, paint stenciling, paste embossing stenciling, and washi tape. I have used the verve sentiment beautiful things and paired it with a glittery heart, crocheted flower, leaf die cuts, and some burlap twine. It is contest week at the mojo monday blog, sure hope you play along!

hello and welcome to my take on this weeks mojo monday sketch. I have used a deep blue journaling card and paired it with a lime green watercolored background. I adore this color combo! I added some lime twine, a white crocheted flower and a few enamel dots. Super simple, but sweet cas card. Welcome, it is time for this weeks mojo monday sketch and I luv it! I have also played along with the card concept challenge, the inspiration photo is gorgeous. I wanted to get iny and go for a mixed media look and still keep a girly look and some glitter. The heart is covered with a glittery spectrum noir pen...sweeeet! I have attached an adorable felt flower, I can't get enough of the felt embellies lately. Have a wonderful week and I hope it is full of creating!

good morning, I am using one of the free verve digis that julee has offered...be sure to look for them on the verve blog from time to time. I have watercolored the gorgoeus blue onto watercolor paper. I printed the digi on light blue card stock, luv the way it looks. I also added ink splatter and twine and of course a few gems. hello, it is contest week at the mojo monday and we have a fun sketch for you to use. I have watercolored the main panel with the iced spruce tim holtz ink and then used a doily and a corrugated heart cut from the verve heart die. I have used the Verve flower dies to create the felt flower and leaves....you can use any combo of flower dies to recreate something similar. The happy day card is a journaling card and I have added a fun sentiment sticker too. The background is watercolored and I added twine and a gem. hello and welcome, it is time for another mojo monday sketch..this sketch is a favorite for sure! Of course I put my twist on the sketch! I have used concord & 9th stamps and dies...luv the outcome! I have watercolored the background and the added the love die cut that has been inked using my new altenew inks and let's just say I am in luv...they are quite amazing! I have used finetec watercolors paints for the copper background and the added a random embossed star pattern(very hard to see in photo, but I luv the placement IRL). A few verve stars die cut and a verve birthday sentiment. I then added grey twine and a few pink gemstones....I adore this color combo...wow...so very feminine...luv it! For todays mojo monday sketch, I have used a little watercoloring splash background and then layered it with a big 'ole heart and a sweet die cut flower. The birthday sentiment is a verve plain jane stamp, one of my favorites. It is unavailable now, but hopefully will be added to a new set soon. Super cas for me today, I really wanted to add a few more gems, but refrained!
