Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #5

I was so very lucky to be a winner over at Embellish Magazine Labels Challenge and I received a gorgeous prize by the wonderful Claire from WaltzingMouse Stamps...

I only got to play with them the other day, so... I'm entering this for the sketch challenge #5 over at WaltzingMouse Sketch challenge. I wanted a soft feminine thank you card and have used distress inks throughout (I KNOW~ No copics hey). I stamped the background, added faux stitching and distressed the edges to look more fabricy. I even made the flower... from layers of tattered florals die cuts, sprayed with distress ink and pearl powder mix so the colours co-ordinated. It has a large pearl brad in the centre.. a little hard to see in the picture... definitely making more of these beauties, LOL! The stamps are awesome and I love that they fit so well with nestabilties.

Thanks for stopping by, we had quite a weekend... they turned our water off from 11.30 am in the middle of a uniform wash arghhh!!! It came back at 7.30pm, there was a burst pipe in town. Phew!!! the children ate LOTS of ice pops bless them and we had to wash our hands with baby wipes. Lucky I keep a lot of water in the fridge, we had an interesting day! I've been creating away so, pop back tomorrow for a very busy challenges day...
