BasicGrey challenge #25 - Sketch

Good Morning!!! another Saturday and its time for the weekly challenge over at BasicGrey and this time we would like to see your take on Martine's fabulous sketch...
You can re size and even flip the sketch but please make sure that the original sketch can be recognized easily in your creations, feel free to also add any other embellishments etc to your creations and of course not forgetting to use at least one item from BasicGrey...

Managed to ink up one of my recent stamp purchases from the WoJ spring collection, so so pretty and perfect for the spring summery colours of these urban prairie papers, yum. I have coloured this cutie using my copics.
A few special details I want to point out are the cute stamped bugs which I have cut and made dimensional. The Corners were metal brads which I have coloured with my acrylic dabbers, so cool how it's completely changed the colour, they're not very smooth but like the result!
I have also coloured the paper lace with my black ink pad to co-ordinate! Click Images to enlarge...

Materials:
Paper: BG - urban prairie, white card,
Stamps: WoJ - Kneeling willow, Basic grey - Bug/B2 Bitsy,
Die's: Nestabilities recatngles, squares, circles.
Ink: Memento - black, copics, colourbox Q's, acrylic dabber,
Other: Big Bite, grommets, corner brads, 3D foam, adhesive paper lace.

Thank you for your wonderful comments they mean so much and when I get the time I will be round to you all! BiG HuGs and enjoy your Saturday, Kim x

WoJ - Colour challenge & My Time Sketch 20

They have a colour challenge over at Whiff of joy challenge blog

Well this really was a challenge for me, I find these two colours a bit difficult to use, luckily the Cosmo cricket papers did most of the work for me and the purple and green toned very well together! I have used Lauren's wonderful sketch over at My Time.
Trying out different picture styles, the above being taken on my floor, what do you think?

Materials:
Paper: Cosmo Cricket - Storytime,
Stamps: whiffofjoy -
Fancy Cake, BG - Ambrosia Halvah,
Die's: Sizzix - buckle, Nestabilities - rectangles, circles,
Ink: Versafine - black, Colourbox - dark moss, Sakura - pastel souffle, glaze, distress inks,
Other: American craft - velvet ribbon, Adhesive bling, 3D foam,

WoJ sketch and yummy treats

Do you remember this post? Well my two winning entries both use one of the gorgeous line of stamps from Whiff of Joy. Not only was I rewarded by being published in this magazine but the wonderfully talented and extremely generous Katharina has sent me these stunning Stamps as a thank you for using her stamps!
WOW they're gorgeous and more then I ever expected, they have been lovingly mounted same as my ez mount tutorial! Thank you so much Katharina! :)

Now onto the card, they have a great sketch over at Whiff of joy challenge blog

Dillon will be turning 5 on Friday, can't quite believe it! So this I have made for him with my new stamp, although it was funny making a card with Oakley in the bath I realise that Dillon absolutely loves the bath and would spend all night in there if I'd only let him!
I have stamped the image twice onto kraft card and coloured with watercolours and my own mix of twinkling h2o's using micro pearls and watercolour. One image has been cut out and raised on 3d foam. I then had to use these glass beads for the bubbles! Which stuck very easily with glossy accents!

Materials:
Paper: BG - cupcake, PTI - Kraft, blue pearl cardstock,
Stamps: whiffofjoy - Oakley-in-bathtub,
Die's: Sizzix - Alphabet, Nestabilities - squares, corner rounder,
Ink: Versafine - black, Colourbox - dark moss, watercolour, micro pearls,
Other: Glass beads, glossy accents, grommets, big bite, cut'bg embossing, 3D foam,

Thanks for stopping by, Have more to post but it will have to wait! HuGs Kim x

Whiff of Joy, Sketch

This is for this weeks sketch over at Whiff of Joy challenge...

Fancied colouring in watercolours and twinkling H2o's (so pretty, but it's difficult to see the shimmer in the pics!) I used my long nesties so it's not as close to the sketch because the image takes up loads of the front!
