Hello, good morning!

Elaine has the Artistic Outpost - Bluebird stamp set in stock at Quixotic and I had to have a them. I've used Distress Stain - Antique Linen and distress ink on the doily, then stamped the bird image using Archival - Coffee.

The gorgeous papers are Graphic 45 - Once Upon A Springtime and I've finished the bow with a Pearl Spray.

I have tried to include a few challenges in my card, tee hee...

and I have the optional extra of the stamp set and papers as my newbie stuff :)

The silver is the pearl sprig

Papertakeweekly are back now with a new challenge! Seeing spots is simply to use spots/dots or circles on your project!

This scenic route collection has lots of spots, dots and circles so what better paper to use for this challenge. I used my copics to colour the cute Lola stamp inspired by the paper colours! I punched the flowers and embellished with a pearl then finished with a die cut sentiment.

Papertake - Sketch Envelope

This weeks challenge over at Papertake weekly is another of Katharinas fab sketches #28 and this week Whiff of Joy (Katharina's stamp company) are sponsoring the challenge!

Instead of using the sketch on the card I decided to use it on the envelope, the idea for these (I managed to make six in an evening) is to be a little pocket card with a prayer inside for expectant couples!
I wanted neutral tones to suit a couple! this wood paper really is lovely for embossing I adhered it to some card first! This holds the flap of the envelope closed! I have used acetate behind the aperture to hold the embellishments!

In fishing my boyfriend just has to have the latest in new gear and he is called tackle tart, well.... in the crafting world I must be a tool tart, I just can't help but want the next new thing and I "treated" (makes buying stuff sound more acceptable!) myself to the new Sizzix movers and shapers! Very pleased with them, love how easy they are to duplicate! your designs!

Cool Yule

This weeks challenge over at PTW is to make a Christmas card! Yes, about 5 months to Christmas now so the countdown begins for us crafters!!!

I'm so pleased with how this turned out! The image isn't a very traditional Christmas but with the envelope in her hand, it reminded me of writing Xmas cards! Seeing as my copic markers arrived (wooo Hooo) I had to use them! Loving them there's no odour like other markers I've used and have I mentioned that I'm really loving them, and now I'm already addicted to them I will HAVE to get more colours (of course!)

I made the mini Christmas card with nesty and decorated by shrinking the holly that I had coloured with stardust pen before heating (so cute)! There's lots of inking around edges and stuff! creating bit of distressed look!

Materials:
Paper: BG sugared, PM vellum, cream card, DCWV glitter card,
Die's:
Nestabilities squares, Sizzix holly, snowflakes,
Stamps:
Mixed Messages - merry Christmas, make a wish, Sweet Ebony - pen pal, BG - swirls,
Ink: Staz On Black, Copic markers, stardust pen, colourbox creamy brown, dark moss,

Other: Glossy accents, Tim's distresser, Tim's blending thingy, glue pen, 3D foam, yummy red adhesive gems.

Thanks for stopping by, I have made quite a few cards recently but haven't had a great deal of time to upload them, (camera full of baby photo's too!) so bare with me there's more on the way! HuGs Kim x
