BasicGrey Challenge #5 - Sketch & World Cardmaking Day

Good Morning, its time for the next BasicGrey Challenge and this fortnight we have a sketch to inspire you... and if you don't already know, TODAY is also World Cardmaking Day and all over the world cardmakers will be celebrating, are you going to be joining in the fun?

Martine has designed a fabulous sketch for us. I've gone for a Halloween feel but not too spooky. This Gorjuss girl is a dream to colour and I just love the oranges and reds in the BasicGrey Ambrosia collection.

Had to have a skull in there a bit like the one in her hair, I have cut and layered it with grey underneath. The little pumpkin has been created with three little ovals and part of the leaf die trimmed to fit. The sentiment I have curved to fit the shape of the banner and inked the edges.

Not sure how much cardmaking I will get done today might just create some papercrafts with Dillon... who knows.

Supplies: Patterned Paper: BasicGrey: Ambrosia; Stamps: Suagr Nellie - Gorjuss Girls, PTI: Sentiment; Ink: Memento: black; copic markers; Die's: Nestabilities: rectangles original & long; Cuttlebug: vine & flowers; Sizzix: ovals; leaves; Quickutz: Tattoo; EK success: border punch; Other: Adhesive pearls; 3D foam;

Thanks for stopping by, hope you all have a wonderful weekend, I'm hoping to get some commenting time in later too, BiG Happy HuGs Kim :)

ICSketches # 26

Wow can't believe it's Tuesday already!!! Here's my DT card this week for Inspirational Card Sketches....

Dawn has designed a fantastic sketch for us this week and our sponsor is Bunny Zoe's Crafts, owner Nikki is giving away a fantastic prize to one lucky winner using ICSketches #26!!! A set of 7 Christmas Charms and Ollyfant Winter Skates Clear Stamp Set, what a yummy prize!!!
Well I totally enjoyed making this card, the papers just blew me away and sort of took over LOL. See the polka dot paper? I used to have a summer dress in that very pattern it was my favourite!!!
It's impossible to see in the big picture all the sparkle on the pretty girls dress and ribbons. So hope I've captured it in the close up click on the pictures to enlarge. I'm very naughty as this is the first time I've got round to using this stamp tut tut, I will need to curb my buying and use what I have I think!!! (yeah right!!!)

Supplies: Patterned Paper: BG: June bug; MM: Natural card; Stamps: Sugar Nellie: Chic-a-dee; HOTP: stitches; PTI: sentiment; Ink: Memento: Black; colourbox; copics; Sakura: Stardust; Die's: Nestabilities: rectangles; Fiskars: Apron Lace; BG: button; fibres; Prima: Flowers; Other: Pearl brads; Adhesive gems; pearls; tracer; 3D foam;
