You are Magical ♥

 Thanks for joining me...

I created a fun mystical card for the current paperbabe stamps anything goes challenge on the blog today...
I thoroughly enjoyed creating this unique mystical card,
yummy navy with hints of rose gold.
I started by stamping the standard eye from the female face set, in distress oxides and coloured with copics.
R21,32. BG11, 70, 72, 75. BV25. B60. W2. E70, 11.
Then added the lashes with versaclair ink last.
and complemented the story with the newest mini hands that I coloured with my copics: E11, 13, R02, 39, YR000,
and then stamped the mystic adornments in versaclair ink. Which I then fussy cut, and added those jewelled nails and finished off with You are Magical sentiment inside.
The Sizzix crystal ball was a wonderful addition, I love how it came together, I cut the aperture from the navy and the rose gold card in the same position, to then go back in with the 'glow' die, cut in the navy so the gold would show through. I've added a layer of acetate and then put the whole thing on dimensional adhesive to give depth over the eye.

I would love to play along in these challenges...

Beauty Tile ~ Paperbabe Stamps Challenge

Thanks for visiting...
We have a new anything goes challenge on the blog today
It's been an age since I had a go at shrink plastic.
I die cut a diamond shape from frosted shrink plastic then stamped the hair flourish, used the mask to stamp the cute face. I use the wrong ink for the hair the versafine clair bled quite a bit, but thankfully archival ink for the face seemed fine. I coloured her in coloured pencil.
I used a dot stencil for the background very simply drawn in pencil and coloured the dots in copic marker. I shrank the piece down, where the colours really got intense and added a hint of gold ink to the edges.
I added the tile onto the card front, coloured an mdf word blank with posca pen and cut some flowers from the wonderful vintage doll patterned paper.

Journal Prompt Cards ~ Paperbabe Stamps Challenge

 Hello, so happy you're here,

we have a new challenge over on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today,
and here's my fun very arty journal prompt cards.
I created these journal prompt cards, as part of a class with Katy a few years ago and wanted to share them here, as they are still inspiring prompts now.
You can make out quite a few of the stamped images like the smoke from bottle of, the dinky female facestarspop dots alongside a few stencils. It was fun to play with the face placement, I liked them stamped half off etc.
The prompt words were printed.
they are atc size and I have the perfect little handmade bowl to store them in.

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge ~ Anything Goes

Hello and thanks for visiting, we have a new challenge over on the Paperbabe Stamps blog,
a fun anything goes...

I've created this single layer card front, using the dinky collection.
I decided to extend the long loose wave hair to flood the bottom area and create flowing hair. I wanted a solid area and painted in matt black acrylic.
The female face dinky stamp set to coordinate and coloured in watercolours. I've simply given an impression of a top, with a V-neck.
There is plenty of room for a sentiment of maybe even a galaxy effect on her dark hair.

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge ~ 'Embrace Your Dark Side'

Which is what I wanted to put on my card front but there simply wasn't the room...

Hello everyone!!!
Hope you're keeping well and safe...
We have a new challenge up on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today,

I was completely inspired by this wonderful artist... Ling Song
It's a simple stamping, and I used pencil, biro and black fine liner to add shadow and depth.  I've added bat wings, but I'm not sure if it's become too fussy with them, I've also added long finger nails to her dinky hands as well as a few drips, but all the spider webs have been drawn free hand.
The eyeball was a fun combination of the large circle in the standard set and the iris and pupil ffrom the mini set. It was quite fun to doodle away on this sitting with the kiddies in the evening.

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge #125 ~ 1st SKETCH

Hello and welcome
We have a new challenge up on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today,

In fact this sketch was the first Paperbabe stamps challenge back in August 2014 and I thought it would be fun to revisit it...
I started by creating a watercolour panel based off the sketch using the
I then stamped along with the Female Face 3/4 view Left, the Dinky Hands setI used just four Neocolor II pastels to colour her in, the Prussian Blue, Cobalt Blue, Turquoise Blue and Lilac.
I colour matched a few distress oxides to stamp more flourishes, dots, drops and extras, I think I would like to try this again and add lots of white doodles, just didn't quite have the time.
The sentiment was from the Flourish and Grow set.
