BasicGrey Challenges: Challenge 31 ~ Autumn/Harvest Time

So, I'm very late posting my BasicGrey team make,
my computer is banjaxed, the other day my darling 2 yr old, Maoleidigh, decided to tip a huge glass of water over my keyboard with lots of "shocked" shouty noises (you know those non swear words) and after a frantic contorted hairdryer action...  all the very important keys still don't type... seriously couldn't even type my name, sign onto blogger. anything!

I'm on my Fiance's laptop now, managed to track down a new keyboard to replace mine and fingers crossed that's all the damage done, not sure I can fix all the other bits and bobs... so I still have to try and edit my photos on my broken computer because OH doesn't have anything cool like that on his and then transfer them through this one. Phew exhausted!!!

The Theme this week over at Basic Grey Challenges is

I have stamped the laves and heat embossed with clear powder, inked  with distress inks to create a resist.
The leaves are die cut, as is the label for the sentiment, a couple of basic grey buttons and twine!

If you get the chance why not stop by the rest of the teams fabulous autumnal creations :)

Thanks so much for stopping by hope you have a creative day

So, we tried to have an easy day and visited the pictures to see toy story 3 well... Dillon has gotten so scared and frightened of one of the toys in the movie that he was a nightmare to put to bed and even to settle the four or so times he came out of his room. God Bless him he burst into tears in the theatre, well he's asleep right now let hope his dreams are sound.

Basic Grey Challenges 22 ~ Colour Combo #6

Good Morning, today we have a new challenge on Basic Grey Challenges... a gorgeous colour combo by our lovely Heather. Pop over to see the amazing cards from my DT friends :)

I have had this amazing image un-inked for some weeks now and only got to colour her in, she is beautiful! I have coloured her with my copics and tried to keep to the BG colour combo but think the butterfly chose to be pink tee hee! The background I've been wanting to try since I saw Traci's pretty card, mine's very dark and some of the vines are lost too!
I have applied dots of liquid pearls over the bubbles on the image, they give a raised pearly texture. I have painted over the whole image with a generous amount of crackle paint, now she reminds me of the old paintings!

Ok!!! the felt flower, I knew I HAD to have this die, it was on my wish list for a while then I spotted it over at craftydevils and could not wait!!! I love it I think you will see many many cards with this one somewhere LOL!

Supplies: Patterned Paper: BasicGrey: nook & pantry;
Stamps: Sweet pea stamps: plate #29;
Ink: Memento: black; Copic: markers*; distress ink: weathered wood;
Dies: Sizzix: flower 3D; OntheEdge: scroll; Texture fades: burlap;
Other: Adhesive pearls; Prime: lace; liquid pearls; distress crackle paint: clear rock candy; 3D foam;

*Skin: E000, E00, 11, 13 & R20, eyes: B41, Hair: E31, 47, 79, Outfit: E50, 51, RV34, 21, G00, G0000, BG13, 32, 49, E40, 41, Background: 100, B99, BV29 and I used colourless blender throughout!

I thought I would enter my card for a few other challenges too...
