Baby girl brag book

Have had an eventful few days on the technology front.

For a few months the fan on my computer was making a very odd noise, then last week it stopped. Then it would cut out and a red light would shine from within the shuttle and then Tom said he could smell burning! Time to change the fan! I didn't want to fork out loads of money and loose my computer for days, so I phoned the friend who built the computer for me and he told me what I needed to get.

A cool spanner, a trip to Shrewsbury and a funky new fan later and its fixed! For about £25, not bad for a diy job! Only, I then discovered I had put it in the wrong way! All corrected now :)

The other issue was my brand new all singing all dancing phone that I haggled for 50mins to Orange for. I dropped it in water! 3 days of drying it later and it seems to be working... phew!!!

Anyway, enough of that! Here is a brag book I made for my sister's Christmas present. It's pics of my cute niece!

Batman Record Album

On Crafts by Carolyn forum, a recent challenge was to use plastic... also someone posted a fab link to a youtube video showing how to use the bind it all on a record.

Mix the two together and you get this!

(I did have permission from Tom to do this...)

Ingredients:
Batman 8" record, various envelopes, card and notebook paper, Bind it all, various lace and thread from stash.

SALT - pray continually

It was my turn this week to set the theme on SALT.

These were my thoughts...

Prayer is the life line of a Christian, the powerhouse of the church, essential to growing in faith and relationship with the Lord.

As a busy mum it is easy to get through the day and have not bended my knee in prayer to the Lord. Throwing up prayers whilst washing up or walking to school sometimes has to be my lifeline and one aspect of praying continually.

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
I Thessalonians 5:16-18

However I think this verse implies more, that we are not to give up praying. It's not a one off act, it should be part of every day of the rest of our lives.

Please make a project that might help you to pray or be a response to meditating on this theme.

Here is what I made, it's intended to be a prayer diary, it has 14 pages with the days of the week written at the top of each page.
