Pizza Party Time

Good Afternoon!  I've just been coloring which is a great way to start the new year!   Today I've colored a few Lawn Fawn images with my Copic Markers.  First from the new Pizza My Heart set, pizza and pizza box and the animals and  balloons are from Party Animal.  I did cut apart some of the greetings to create the Pizza Party sign.  I had fun building this little scene!   Dave did come by and ask me why my balloons had fish hooks?  As always a very helpful critique....hee hee.  I still Love how it turned out fish hooks and all.

My Baby Turns 12 & Her Sleepover Invite

It's hard to believe my baby is 12 now!  I can't even put it into words, it seems like yesterday when we went to the hospital in a blizzard to have her?   It happened in the blink of an eye. 

This year she asked for a sleepover with her closest friends.  Here is the invite we gave out.  They turned out really cute and the little girl looks just like Abbi. 

For the party I am surprising her with the theme.  I can't share just yet but I am busy making the decorations and party favors and such in secret.   

Hope everyone is enjoying what seems like it might be the last week of Winter......  Can you see my fingers crossed?  Next week we will be in the 40's all week.  Much different from the single digits we've been in.  Stay warm just a little longer!    Thanks for stopping by.

Ready for a Monster High Party

 We used Abbi's every growing doll collection as part of the decorations.   I did get some MH stickers that I used to make the cupcake picks.

 And I found some Monster High stamps that we stamped the goodie bags with.  They are filled with more Monster High things like pencils, erasers, tattoos and stickers.

Yesterday Taylor Turned 1

At a little Zoo South of us!  We had a great time at the party and the zoo!  Cheryl and the girls made an awesome cake! 

Afterwards the girls went to a friends and Dave and I went out for a Movie and Dinner! 

Party

Had a party for Emily's Birthday.  We did a little mini candy bar for favors.   Dianne and I decorated Piggies for the event.  The piggies on sticks are oreos I think we could have improved this process but we did it in the middle of the night which is always fun.  The cupcakes are covered in fondant piggies.  Fun Fun!

 Reeses Cupcakes with a peanut butter cup in the bottom of the cupcake.  Devils Food Cake and Peanut Butter Frosting.  

I was kind of winging it on the frosting I think I could make it more peanut buttery in the future.   YUMMY Though.

Today we had a girls day we went out and had our nails done then did a little shopping and had lunch before Em's Family Birthday party in the evening.  I mad Oreo cupcakes with oreos in the bottom which she requested and a Pineapple Coconut cake with Coconut frosting as well.  Everyone had a great time.

Party Party Party

Today was Abbi's Family Party!  We had a great time even if the cake balls didn't turn out exactly like I had envisioned nor did the tower cake but it was fun and yummy none the less.  Dave took the girls to the store and Abbi picked out a cool Dragonfly balloon.  We served Chicken Patties on a bun, it is what she requested and her favorite food recently.  She had fun running around and playing with her cousins and sisters.   Here are a few snapshots.
