January Card Swap - Snowman

This is my card for the CARS club swap this Thursday, well we are expecting some weather so maybe postponed until February but either way this is the card it's just a paper pieced snowman.  I did end up using some circle punches for the eyes and mouth as well as the heart.  Otherwise it is all hand cut.  It was plain looking so I added the stitching with a white pen as well.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a warm week and be safe in the snow!

It's Raining It's Pouring - Literally - Bombshell April Sketch

It has been a stormy week here.  So this card is somewhat appropriate.  Well It's way to cold for bathing suits but the umbrella is a must for going outside now.  As long as you don't let the wind catch it!
This card was created for the April Bombshell Sketch above Kathi posted over at the Bombshell Blog.  I used the Bombshell Angel Stamp Set  and an Umbrella and Raindrop Die to embellish her.  The Angel is colored and cut out and pieced together.  I had to do her right hand twice and glue one on top of the other to maker her look like she is holding the umbrella.  It's hard to see in the photo but the raindrops, umbrella handle, and flowers are all glazed and shiny.

Oh and I won some Bombshell Bucks from the Roving Prize Patrol(Alaine Thank You for your kind comments) for my Bombshell Angel Card in March.  Very Very Exciting!

Happy Wednesday!  Hope you all have a great day and stay dry!  Thanks for stopping by to take a look.

A Blog Named Hero Challenge #19 - Paper Piecing

My Entry for Challenge #19 over at A Blog Named Hero, Snip N' Stick, Paper Piecing Technique.

I loved getting time with some of my Hero Arts Stamps.  I'm working on using things I haven't or trying new techniques.

I used the clear Hero Arts set Wish You Were Here and paper by Cosmo Cricket a 6x6 pad Odds & Ends.  I also used my Spellbinders Labels 8 and some Chalk Ink.  I had fun picking out the patterns for my chair and imagining them as fabric!

Hope you like it!  Thanks for taking a look.  Be sure to stop by A Blog Named Hero and check out all of the other amazing work!
