Still Going - C is for

Omg 2 months in a row.  I was in a hurry this month not sure what that was all about it's been a bit crazy as May generally is!  Here I used one of my Digital Car stamps from Bombshell Stamps.  This one is from King of the Road.  Love how fun it turned out.

C is for Car

This one I went back to mist.  The mist I made myself with gold glaze and water.  Love how shimmery it is.  I colored the card with distress inks and vintagized it because it needed it.  Then misted it with watered down spray.  I'm still perfecting my calligraphy with the chisel of my Copic markers.  I need to get some different nibs someone told me about.  Truly my hand forgets the shape of the nib.

Art Journal Still Going

Here is my second installment for my Art Journal -  B is for what else?  Bombshell this one was a no brainer since I have my Bombshell Stamps.  Here I used Bombshell Angel my all time favorite.  I've colored her with Copics and vintagized her.  Don't you love the affect?

B is for Bombshell

I did have a bit of problem with my calligraphy since I wanted to do some work over it to vintagize it?   The ink runs whenever I put anything over it.  I had to attempt the calligraphy with the chisel of my Copic markers.  Do I love it?  NO but it's better than it looked all runny!  If I get a chance I'll redo the lettering.

My New Alphabet Art Journal - Calligraphy Practice

So  I've decided to practice my Calligraphy more often.  To that end I am working on an Alphabet Art Journal.  This way I get to play with a lot of techniques and get a little practice in.  For A I have chosen the word Angel.  I used my Bombshell Angel Stamp set (all time favorite Bombshell Stamp) and colored and fussy cut the little Angel/cherub he is of course shooting a heart.    The clouds are Memory Box(found my missing Puffy Clouds Die but not before I purchased a second set, UGHHHH, I digress).  And I practiced the word Angel a lot before putting it in the journal.  Oh my am I out of practice.  This will be a good excercise for me and hopefully I will improve and be back to writing calligraphy with ease when I get to Z  OMG Z.  Not going to panic it will be a slow process.
