Delightful Daisy Cards

Happy Weekend.  I've been trying to get back into my craft room every week creating something new.  This week I was inspired by the Lawn Fawnatics color challenge and a few Lawn Fawn dies and stamps to create these slimline cards  I used Delightful Daisy as my main focal point, and the Happy Birthday, Hello and Thank You Borders, cut from copper mirror card, for my greeting.  I also used the grasses from Gleeful Gardens on my background which was created using Distress Oxide inks in Speckled Egg, Bundled Sage, and some Peeled Paint.  The flowers were cut from paper I colored with Distress Oxide as well, Worn Lipstick and Seedless Preserves.    I then grunged them all up with Walnut Stain and some shimmery copper splatters.  I tried really hard at the end to ruin them with glue everywhere because, you know, it's not fun(exhilarating) unless you try to mess it up just as your almost finishing a project...

I could not decide on a greeting so I used 3 different ones.  The Hello is new just got that one while in Iowa at Scrapmania.  I love being able to use new product within a month of getting it, instead of putting it away and forgetting about it
Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.  Hope you have a Wonderful Weekend.

Thank You You're The Best Cards

I created these cards for a Friend that wanted to give a Thank You to some parents that helped her pick out foreign language books for her classroom.  I stamped and embossed this Hero Arts background then water colored everything.  The greeting is by Queen & Co.  and cut out of foam then layered on black.

They turned out cute and I'm sure will be well received.

Such a beautiful weekend we are having.  Stay safe and healthy.  Hugs!

Thank You Card Set - Etsy Shop

Added a new set of Thank You cards in the ETSY SHOP.

Once again on my Brown kick.  I feel like it's been forever since I've used brown that is not Kraft colored in my projects.  I'm loving it in this matching set of thank you cards.
Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.  Hope everyone is Safe and Happy.

Floral Thank You Cards

Well it seems my inspiration is product driven for the most part.  I got a new set of stamps at Michael's from Hampton Arts called Flower Amaze.  I love the 2 step techniques I always have.  It makes a card no matter how simple seem somehow complete.

I love how this one turned out with the Pink seam binding and pink polka dot paper layered on green. Again I took advantage of my stamp press to make multiple cards.

I appreciated everyone that stops by for a visit here feel free leave a comment so I can Thank You in person!!!  Hope you have a Wonderful Day Today!  I will be back later in the week with some more scrapbook layouts!

Tropical Card Series - Flamigos Birthday and Thank You

I had a short break over the Holiday week.   So I thought we would start this week with a very summery theme Tropical Cards.  I'm starting with a very quick and easy card using my Silhouette and some Greeting Dies from Tim Holtz and Sizzix.
These cards came together quick after I found the correct paper for the Flamingos.  I ended up finding it in a new pad I bought from Michaels.  The greetings are cut with the Tim Holtz Dies out of Gold Mirror Card.  The black dots are from my scraps as is the green paper.
This is going to come to a big finish which I'm excited about!  Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday last week and Summer is going well! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Thank You Sea Shells - Navy and Gold Series

We made it to the 5th card in the color series.  YAY I have been excited to use some new products and techniques throughout this series of cards.  This card is no exception all new products mostly Anna Griffin again.  The Anna Griffin Sea Shells are stamped on a scalloped die cut piece of white paper with Adirondack ink.   I love the super crisp image this ink gave these stamps and was pleasantly surprised how well these clear polymer stamps worked.  The Thank You is also from a new Anna Griffin set of greetings that came with die cuts.  The small oval was cut with that set and the larger gold was cut with a Lifestyle Crafts oval die.  I added some navy grosgrain ribbon behind the words and popped up the entire scalloped piece onto gold mirrorcard.
I am so happy with the way that this card series turned out I'm already working on another one or two!  YAY!  Look for a Patriotic Series starting later this week.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to visit my blog!  It is so appreciated!  Have a Wonderful WEEK!

Rainbow of Thanks - Nested Die Organization

I've been building up my card stash once again using my scraps.  I can never have enough Thank You cards or Birthday Cards.  Today I have a Quick and Easy Thank You card.  Plus a little storage idea  I'm always cleaning and reorganizing trying to get things just so in my craft room.  I really work better when things are not tucked away in drawers in boxes or cases so I've moved all of my nesting dies to the inside of the cabinet doors over my desk.  I'm so happy with this system I just open any cabinet and find the shape I need for my current project cut put it away and I'm done.  Here is a picture of the way have set it up.

This process also gave me a couple of empty drawers I can put 6x6 pads in so it's a twofer!!!!!

I will share more of my new or old organizing ideas  that really seem to work for me lately next weekend.

Thank you so much for stopping by have a wonderful weekend!

Golden Toile Your Appreciated Thank You

Happy New Years Eve....  Today we are getting ready for a fun family New Years Eve party.  I've finished all my shopping and I am just cooking up some fun finger food for us all to share.  So it's time for another challenge card, this time a Thanks So Much card.   The challenge is from Mojo Monday #428 and it's a sketch challenge.  This is the sketch below.

I used mostly some scraps of paper and cards Shirley from stamp club traded with us and a stamp set(Toile Blossoms by SU) that was lying on top of stack of stamps.  I've had these stamps forever and I have used them tons well a long long time ago.  I just recently unmounted them so they were at the top of the stack.

Here I stamped them in Tree Branch Archival ink on a craft tag and colored them with Prisma Color Pencils(haven't used these in ages).  I do like how the flower turned out on the craft.  The sentiment came from another older SU set Lots of Thoughts.
I've also stamped the Ivory Background with a Crackle background stamp in the Tree Branch again.  This paper was the only new paper I actually used.  It's called Gold Dust Shimmering Cardstock from Crafter's Companion.  I wish I could get a better photo of it so you could really see the shimmer, it's so pretty.
The other sparkle elements I've added are the gold vellum strip, gold ribbon, the gold metallic paper circle and there is gold Wink of Stella around the leaves and in the flowers but it is also hard to see.
The fun was in creating this from what was sitting here on my desk needing to be put away for the most part though.  A challenge on top of a challenge.

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank each and every one of you that stop by my blog and wish you a Happy Healthy and Safe New Year.   I wish you a Wonderful 2016.

Day 3 Fab 5 Fall Cards - Misted Leaves

Hello WEDNESDAY!  We re more than half way through the Fab 5 Fall Cards!  How fun!

Today my share has some misted leaves.  I actually misted an entire piece of watercolor paper with Distress Stains and Shimmer Mists then die cut them, with the LawnFawn stitched leaves, after the paper dried.  The thanks, also from LawnFawn,  was cut from copper mirror card and the for being so thoughtful comes from the LawnFawn set Many Thanks.  Everything is layered onto ivory cardstock and again on a piece of Basic Grey patterned paper.  The card base has a swiss dot embossed ivory piece on it.  Lastly I added some copper and lime green stickles for sparkle.
Don't forget to check out Dianne's inspiring card over at I See A Pattern Forming today!   Only 2 more days after this.  Don't miss any subscribe over on the right sidebar --------------->>>.

Last night Dianne and I enjoyed an Amazing dinner with FABULOUS friends and Wonderful conversation.  It was very therapeutic and just what we needed.  We hope you're enjoying your week!

Thank you so much for stopping by.   Have a great day.

Autumn Bridie

Happy Tuesday!  Or should I say Happy Autumn?   I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today with a new post and some Amazing new items from a New Release from Memory Box.  I love some of the new stamps and matching dies.   I've used the, oh so cute, Autumn Birdie set with my copic markers to create this adorable card.  For the background I created a background using the Cloud Cover Stencil and some paste.  The postage stamp comes from the Postage Set and layers added from the Perfect Patch Strip.  I am in love with the new Tippington Vine as well which our little birdie is perched on.

Of course I've added a bit of glitter for some sparkle on the clouds.  I adore how it turned out!  That little bit of sparkles sets everything off perfectly.
Thank you so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a Wonderful Tuesday!

Hee Hee Heee

So this thank you was for Carol.  I was so excited to use my ATV stamp from Stampin Up.   I've never had a reason for it yet even though I've had it for months.  She and her boyfriend just got matching ATV's for all of their mini trips.  It's cute and kinda looks like hers.
