There's Hope Card

Hello friends. Larissa here today with a fun technique card.  It is a very easy technique as well.

I started off stamping the flower stamp on the card along with the sentiment in VersaMark Ink and Heat Embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. It was hard to get on camera since is was clear on white cardstock. You can kind of see the flower below.

I picked several colors of Distress Inks out and grabbed some sponges.
I sponged the color across the card in rainbow order.

I continued down the piece of cardstock making sure to blend each other color into each other. I also used a tiny strip of felt I had laying on my desk to hold the card stock down so I would not smudge it with my fingers.

Once I was done blending the colors I dropped some water drops on it and wiped them off with a paper towel.

I adhered the card front onto a mat then on to the card base. To finish off my card I added a few clear drops around the card. Again hard to see.

Products used for this card:
Paper Wings Productions Stamp Sets

Sponges (One for each color)

I hope you enjoyed by post today.

Bless Your Heart

Hello friends. Larissa here with you today. I created a card today using one of my favorite sayings.
So lets get started.

For this card I used:

Other Products Used:
White Cardstock
Versafine Onxy Black Ink
Copic Markers
Black Gel Pen
Blue Ribbon
Pattern Paper from my stash

I stamped the saying and the blue bonnets on a piece of cardstock and colored the images using Copic markers.
I then went around the image with a black gel pen making little stitch marks.

I adhered the images on a piece of pattern paper and then onto a white card base.

To finish off the card I added a piece of blue ribbon I tied in a bow.

Thank you for stopping by today. Be sure to check back to see what inspiration the DT team has for you this month.

Believe

Hello friends. Larissa here with you today. I wanted to make sort of a vintage looking card using this stamp. I am always using the bright colors and bling so this was a little challenging.

Products Used:
Paper Wings Productions Vintage Santa Stamp
Kraft Cardstock
Cocoa Ink
Prismacolor Pencils
White GellyRoll Pen
Autumn Red Nuvo Drops

I cut the piece of Kraft cardstock and stamped the image on it using cocoa ink. I then colored the image very lightly using my Prismacolor pencils. Once I was done coloring I took a white eraser and rubbed over the color to fade it a little more.
Once I was done this was the hard part for me.. to leave it alone! No rhinestones no sequins no glitter. NOTHING..

I rounded the corners off and matted it on a piece of white cardstock then onto a kraft card base. I did end up adding a Nuvo drop in each corner. I also took my Gelly Roll pen and made little snow dots around the image. I love the way white looks on the Kraft cardstock.

I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful Holiday season.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you.

Hello friends, Larissa here with you today with a few fun Christmas coffee cards. You know me and these fun coffee stamps. I love using them and making different things with them. This past week I have seen a lot of my friends enjoying their expensive morning coffee's in a cut new holiday cup and it gave me an idea. I pulled out two different Christmas stamps and my favorite coffee stamp and got busy. I ended up with not one, not two but three new cards.

I stamped the cup 3 times and then stamped 2 lids and one of the frothy lids. I colored the first card with Prismacolor Pencils after I stamped the Santa in the middle.

One the second card I stamped Believe down the cup and added a little set of bells. I colored the whipped cream image using Red and Green Copic markers and topped it glitter.

For the 3rd and final card, I stamped Santa's Sleigh and Dear Santa on the cup and colored in the cup using Prismacolor Pencils.

I adhered all the card fronts to white card bases and added Nuvo drops to finish them off.
I hoped you enjoyed my cards today. Have a wonderful day friends.

Hello friends. Larissa here today with two Halloween cards for you. I am using three stamps sets
today.

I used Paper Wings Productions:

Little Halloween Stamp Set

I also used:
White cardstock
Only Orange Cardstock
ATG
Distress Inks: Black Soot, Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Citron, Wilted Violet
Mini Mister
Nuvo Drops: Violet Galaxy, Apple Green and Ripened Pumpkin

I smushed the inks on a piece of plastic and misted them with water. I then put the cardstock on top to pick up the inks. I dried them with my heat tool.
I then stamped the images around the card on top of the ink.
To finish off each card I matted it on a piece of Only Orange cardstock and adhered it to a white card base. I also added a few Nuvo drops on the card. I kept it simple and didn't want a lot of bling to take away from the images.

This card used the Mujer Skelton Stamp and sentiment from Calaveras & Corazon.

This card I used Calaveras &Corazons image and sentiment from Little Halloween Set.

I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful day friends.

New Year and Snowmen

Hello friends. I am so happy to be back posting here at the Aviary. I have missed all of you. I am hoping each of you have a fantastic 2017.

Today I have a card for you I made using the Snowman Love stamp set. You know snowman are just not for Christmas.

I stamped the image of the snowman 3 times across a piece of white cardstock I trimmed down. I then used my Copic marker BG10 to give it a little highlight here and there to make it look a white.

I added YR07 to their noses and W3 and W1 for the ground. I of course wanted to have the focus on the snowmen so I didn't want to add any bright pattern paper. I took a embossing folder I had a embossed snowflakes on a piece of colored cardstock to use for the background. It gave it just enough. To finish off the card front I tied a piece of blue and white twine around the bottom.

Supplies Used:
Paper Wings Productions Snowman Love stamp set
Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink
Copic Markers
Pool Party Cardstock from Stampin Up
Sizzix Embossing folder Snowflakes
Blue and White Twine
ATG
White Card Base

I hope you enjoyed my post today. I will be back with more cards next week.
Have a gorgeous day.

Amor

Hello friends. Larissa here with you today.

I grabbed the Frida Por Vida stamp set this morning and stamped one of the images on a piece of 110lb white cardstock. I colored the image using Copic makers.

I found the perfect pattern paper in my stash and used it to cut a tag and for the background of the card front. I also matted the imaged piece as well as the card front on a piece of
Stampin Up Ripple Raspberry cardstock. It matched perfectly. I added some black and white twine to the top of the tag and a couple of small navy blue banners.

I love the way this card turned out. The colors make the image pop off the page. Don't you think?

Thank you for stopping by today. Make sure to check back Friday and see what Erin has in store for you.

Have a wonderful crafty day,

Larissa Pittman

Fall Coffee Time

Hello friends. Larissa here and I am back with another card using my favorite Coffee stamp set.

This time I am mixing it up again using the Halloween and Fall theme. I hope you are not tired of seeing these cups because these have to be my favorite set ever. You can do so much with them. I will link a few other post at the end in case you missed the other cards I have done with it.

So I started off cutting my cardstock to 3X6 and scored each at 3. It will make a 3x3 folded note card. I cut pattern paper and black cardstock and adhered it to the card front.
I stamped the coffee cup a few times on a piece of 110 lb white cardstock and then stamped a different image on each. I colored them all with Copic markers and highlighted here and there with a white Gelly Roll pen. After coloring the coffee cups I cut each one out and adhered it to the card front.

These cards are pretty simple to create. They only took me about 15 to 20 minutes. You could drop a Fall Flavored KCup Coffee or Tea in a clear small baggy and attach one of these note cards.

A Sparkly Tiara

Hello friends. I am so excited to have this stamp set in my hands right now. It has been on my list for awhile and I finally got it. :) It is called With Some Sparkle

I started off with a piece of watercolor paper and did my favorite smooshing technique with some Peerless Watercolors. I then heat embossed the sentiment using Ultra Fine Antique Gold embossing powder from Simon Says Stamps.

To finish it off I matted the piece of watercolor paper onto a piece of Stampin Up Melon Mambo Cardstock and then added a few hot pink sequins to finish it off. I adhered the card front to a white card base.

I think this has to be my favorite sentiment and I think I will be stamping it in my planner a few times.

Hope you enjoyed my post today.
Have a wonderful day friends.

Planner Tag

Hello Friends. Larissa here today with a little something different.
I have had this clear stamp set for awhile. And while I have inked it up several times and colored the images nothing has come to play. I couldn't figure out what to do with a card. So I took it out today and I was determined to have a finished project.
Then it hit me.
I took a kraft colored tag and stamped the St Francis image towards the bottom of the tag. I used Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink. I then took my white gelly roll pen and wrote the entire Prayer of St Francis on the tag around the image. I colored the image in lightly with Prismacolor Pencils and blended them with a dry stump.

And now I use it as a marker in my planner.

The stamp set I used is the Santos Clear Stamp set

I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful day friends.

Frap-a-;icious!

Hello friends. This summer there seems to be a new craze at the expensive coffee shop. The "Pink" drink. It is actually their Strawberry Acai refresher and they add coconut milk instead of water and some fresh strawberries. It actually is something pretty amazing. A super refreshing summer drink.
My card today is my take on the Pink Drink.

I stamped the cup from Frothy Concoctions Clear Stamps  twice on a piece of white cardstock and then stamped the lids and straws. I used the cherry and stamped it all on the inside of one cup and the heart at the bottom of the other. (There is not a strawberry in the set)
I then colored the images with Copic markers. I used RV13, RV14, and RV02 for the drink,
To finish the card off I used my little spritz tool and spritzed pink all over the card. It might be a little hard to see it in the picture.
I matted the card front onto a piece of SU Pink Pirouette cardstock and then adhered it to a white card base.

I know you see me use this stamp set a lot but you can do so much with it and it is one of my favorites.

I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday friends.

Happy Crafting,
Larissa Pittman

Summer Sugar Skull Card

Hello friends. You all know by now I love sugar skulls. So today I pulled out one of my favorite stamps sets to use for this card.
I am using the Calavera Cling Stamp.
I took a piece of white cardstock and stamped the image a few times on the front using Versamark ink. I then heat embossed the images using a detailed white powder.
I grabbed four of my favorite Distress Ink colors and blended them all over the card.
I used Picked Raspberry, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade. I blended each color into the next until there was not a harsh line.

I love using these colors for summer and I think they went with the sugar skull nicely.
I then used the Hola sentiment from the set Calvaras and Corazons set to stamp directly onto the card using Versafine Onxy Black ink.

I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful day.
