Bailey the Reindeer

Back again!
Yep, it's me popping up yet again today, to let you know that we have a new challenge starting over at SPARKLES CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE and the theme is:

REINDEER

This challenge is perfect for me, as you know I mainly enjoy colouring up animal stamps. When I saw the theme, I had just the stamp in mind that I wanted to use. I had a dig around in my digi collection and found this super cute reindeer from Digistamp Boutique. Still sad the shop has closed because it was one of my very favourite digi stamp suppliers :-(
Please meet Bailey:
 Love that sweet expression:
Card Details
Papers - Docraft's - The night before Christmas and Karen Foster scrapbooking paper

A Cute Nativity

Morning Folks!

Goodness me, how are we starting August already?? This year is going far too quickly for me!
I have started am ambitious project this summer holiday - to de- clutter my house! I'm already thinking I might have bitten off more than I can chew and I haven't even done a whole room yet. Hopefully, the charity shops will be pleased to take my first installment of bags tomorrow!

Anyway, enough waffling from me, I'm here to share a Christmas card
Yes, it will be Christmas before we know it too ....

Over at Sparkles Christmas Monthly Challenges, Caz has choosen the fantastic theme of

A KRAFTY CHRISTMAS

Here's the card I made using a very old image from Digistamp Boutique called Cute Nativity Boy and Girl.
This image really reminds me of infant school nativity plays with old sheets and T- Towels as costumes! It was really quick to colour with the trusty promarkers. The papers are a mixture of Craft Creations, Wellington and some scrapbooking offcuts!

As the image is quite simple, I just finished the card with some twine and a greeting tag from LOTV.

Morning Folks!

Nat has choosen a fabulous theme for the new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers :

BEARS R US

Perfect for a big bear fan like me!!

Here's my card using Louie and Cupcake from our kind sponsor DigiStamp Boutique.  How cute is he??!! I'm in love!!
I even broke open a newly purchased Dovecraft Back to Basics - Baby Steps paper pad especially for this card - it bypassed the stroking and admiring stages altogether!

Louie looks a little sad, perhaps he is worried that bee / wasp is going to land on his cupcake!

Olivia

Morning Folks!

The new challenge at Passion for Promarkers is just starting, Linda has choosen a nice easy theme:
GEMS and / or PEARLS
so we are hoping to see lots of entries!

Here's my card using a new digi I treated myself to last weekend in the Bank Holiday sale over at Digi Stamp Boutique, this is the super cute Olivia.
I had a slight panic whilst colouring this as my cool grey 1 promarker was dying but it just about lasted so that I could finish the kitty fur. Had a check and realised that I had had that promarker well over 3 years - which is really good value for money I reckon!
Hope you can see the tiny gem on the collar:
The papers are my latest favourites, First Edition Floral Fancy which has just about migrated from the 'stroking' to the 'in use' paper collection!
Flowers are by Prima
Gems, pearls and sentiment from deep in my stash collection.

Don't forget to pop over to

Dolly Daydream

Afternoon Folks!
Well it's been a dull old day here, rain and grey skies - everything I hate about the British winter! I have something to cheer us up though, a Spring inspired card! I made this for my sister who is mad about sheep:

The digi is Dolly Daydream from Digistamp Boutique, isn't she cute?

Card Details:
Papers - First Edition Spring Drop and a bit of green from my scraps box
Dies - New fence die from China, cheap as chips and cuts really well and MBox butterfly
Prima Flowers from my stash with stickles in the centres

Thanks for visiting and for any comments you leave!

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:
Cutie Pie Challenge - Spring Cuties
My Time to Craft - Easter or Spring

As you like it - single or multi layers - Mostly I like to use multiple layers, I can't master the CAS approach and I need an excuse for my patterned paper addiction!!

Quacky

Morning Folks!
Hope your week is going OK so far!
The new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers is just starting, it's nice and easy, we'd like to see

LOTS OF LAYERS

We are sponsored by Digistamp Boutique, I got to play with the super cute For You Quacky - love this bright and cheerful image which was great to colour on a very dull January day! I raided my yellow / orange scraps folder for my card so I'm not too sure of the make of the papers. The die cut butterfly is from Memory Box.

Who could resist that little face:

Morning Folks!

THANK YOU CARDS

I recently treated myself to some new digis in the sale over at DigiStamp Boutique - this one is Jasper and Flower which I thought would be useful for lots of occasions, including Thank you!  The papers are a mixture of LOTV , Forever Friends and a magazine freebie. The sentiment tag is LOTV too.

No Christmas card to share with you today but I do want to let you know that the fabulous Mega Christmas Challenge is continuing over at Passion for Promarkers. Our theme is

ADD A SENTIMENT

so nice and easy and suitable for any occasion - so you don't have to make a Crimbo card if you don't want to!

The rest of the team 2 girlies have some fabulous cards to show you this week. The challenge is open until 2nd January so you've got plenty of time to grab your promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, metallic or aqua markers and join us!

Here's my card, I needed a break from snowy cards! I've used a super cute digi from Digistamp Boutique (one of our sponsors) called Birthday Nell. Papers are from Crafters Companion and magazine freebies.

Sketchy Snowman

Morning Folks!
A quick post from me to let you know that the new theme has just been announced over Sparkles Monthly Challenges, it is

WHITE CHRISTMAS

I recently treated myself to some new images from DigiStamp Boutique, this is the first outing for Sketchy Snow person which you can find here in the shop. I do love a nice traditional snowman on a Crimbo card! I found this sentiment in my odds and ends box and it was the perfect size to go with the image, I think it looks a little bit like a snowglobe! The card is quite sparkly in real life, the background white sparkly paper, which is not showing up too well, has been embossed with a Bebunni Folder.

I had fun adding a good dusting of glitter and lots of liquid pearl snowflakes.

Shades of Autumn

Morning Folks and Happy Hallowe'en!
Don't panic, nothing scary going on in this post!
This week, the new challenge at Passion for Promarkers has been choosen by Elaine who would like to see projects inspired by

SHADES OF AUTUMN

I fell in love with this cute squirrel image called 'Autumn Nutty' when it was released over at DigiStamp Boutique a couple of months ago. He seemed perfect for this challenge so here he is making his first appearance on my blog, coloured up with promarkers and a touch of pencil:

I used another sheet of my current favourite paper, Dovecrafts More or Less Collection. Initially, I wasn't too sure about the colours but now I'm beginning to think I should have bought 2 packs ...  I love the orange, turquoise and browns together (or in this case on their own) and the patterns. Here's what I'm rabbiting on about:

The woodgrain paper is from The Works, banner and sentiment die cuts from The Range, and hessian ribbon from the Art of Craft. The pinwheel flower/ rosette is from American Crafts, it's such an ancient packet - I can't even remember where I got it!

Don't forget to pop over to
to see what the rest of the design team have made!
Get creating with your Letraset / Winsor & Newton markers and join us!! Remember you can enter any type of creation, it doesn't have to be a card.

This week we  have two prizes, a packet of 6 promarkers and a 30% discount voucher from Petal Lu
for our winner.

Thanks for visiting today xx
