Mariners Baseball Nails

In celebration of our families first Mariners baseball game at the stadium, I went with home team colors.
Navy blue, teal and of course, baseballs!
Navy blue and teal nails were gradient sponged.

Go Mariners!

Please ignore the chipped polish and cut on my pinky. This is sadly what a day at work did to my hard work :-( But I had to show off my new camera as well as the ball field in the background!

Tips - Teal / White

My husband and I have his work party tomorrow so I figured I would go more simple, less eye-catching as I'm not a huge fan of any attention, let alone from people I've never met. So tonight I did a simple white tip french with a twist. I had to add a sheer pink as a base because my darn nails are so ugly stained! EWWW!!

Products Used:
*OPI Who Needs A Prince
*SH Whiteout White
*China Glaze Adore
*W&W black
*off brand clear rhinestones
*SV top coat

I put on the OPI, then the classic white tip. From there I added the CG in a triangle shape on one half of my nails (my other hand's triangles are on the opposite side). Then used a medium dotting tool with the black and finished with clear rhinestones and a top coat. Simple yet cute and even a tad elegant, which my manly hands could always use a dose of!

Tiara Tips

Not exactly holiday colors but for some reason, teal does remind me of Christmas when I was little.
My mom had bought a large package of wrapping paper that had these glittery teals, purples, pinks and greens in it. So it does remind me at least.

I originally got inspired by My Nail Graffiti's manicure but went with a teal tip instead of a blue tip. Both look great I think though. She did an amazing job.

 The products I used
*2 coats OPI Yodel Me On My Cell base color and tips
*1 coat China Glaze Loreli's Tiara glitter coat
(I feel kinda naked without any art or embellishments or rhinestones but I was pooped after 3 hours of wrapping presents and only being half way done)

More pics

You can kind of see Yodel peeking through Tiara, yea? I thought Yodel as a base gave it a really pretty hue to it :-)

Tiara also applied really nice. Even with one coat of top coat, its not too rough like many glitters. I must say, I am impressed!

Looks gorgeous in natural sunlight but my camera is just no good for capturing that.

Glee Refinished with FTD!

After 3 days of wear on Jesse's Girl Glee, I finally started to get some tip chippage going on.
The rest of the mani still looked amazing though so I whipped out my super awesome French Tip Dip
and refinished my Glee mani with W&W Black tips!
Now I have a whole new mani!
Damn, its hot!

It's Glee Time!

Ok all you Glee freaks! Here is a loud polish for you!
I did just see that there is a specific Glee collection coming soon.
This polish isn't related to that collection.
Its by Jesse's Girl called Glee.
A gorgeous blue/green/teal sparkle combo!
My first thought; mermaids!
It applied nicely with 2 coats and Im on day 3 with only minor tip chipping!
